We pulled the record with regard to this issue and found that the piece came in to our warehouse and that our service manager, Don, called the telephone # we had on the order on April 13th, 2018 to attempt to set up a date to finish the trim. He left a voicemail on that day Our records show that we did not receive a call back from that attempt.
Regardless, we placed 2 more calls today (4/25) and left voicemails at 2 different numbers (we actually had 2 numbers on your order).

Thanks for leaving a review and bringing your concerns to our attention. What you’re describing is a feature of all carpet types, called crushing, which can be influenced by traffic level and care, but is almost always the result heavier furniture being put in place and creating an indentation from the weight of the furniture. You can reduce the degree of crushing in your carpet with regular vacuuming, but all carpet will crush to some degree. Additionally, after furniture is moved, spraying a tiny bit of moisture (water) on the spot and buffing it by hand, usually helps to relieve the indentations. It also helps, if the feet of your furniture are very narrow, that the weight be better distributed by sliding larger, hard rubber carpet protectors between the foot of the furniture and the carpet to dissipate the weight more effectively. These are available at most hardware stores or home centers.

It’s also good news that the carpet you purchased is a STAINMASTER Nylon carpet and is the most resilient carpet fiber on the market today.

It is possible, although not likely, that there is a manufacturing defect in the product itself. We can alert the manufacturer on your behalf and request a site inspection of the installed material, during which an inspector will come and examine the carpet to offer you manufacturer-specific recommendations.

Another option, if you prefer, would be to have our General Sales Manager speak with you about your concerns and determine a course of action from there.
