An amazing designer with stunning vision, working with Jill is pure joy. She provided an abundance of ideas and options as she designed the makeover of our 30 year old landscape. Working with what we like and didn’t like, and our level of plant knowledge, she always made us feel like we were working together. She was onsite the entire time that the landscapers were working, willing to adjust her plan as she saw opportunities to make every inch the best it could be.
I highly recommend Jill - I am already planning projects for next year and the year after.

Thank you Jill for all the work involved in transforming our front beds and paver walkway. We absolutely love the Brussels pavers with the added black stone edgin that you recommended, along with the plantings and removal of ground cover it is a complete update to our home and we love how it looks when we pull into the drive. We are also thankful that you and your team were knowledgeable and able to install French drains on all of our downspouts eliminating all water puddling around the foundation when it rains.
Our back and side yard look wonderful too, your team was able to remove a huge tree that was diseased and nicely clean out dead branches and reshape trees which has made a huge visual improvement. We love how you were able to extend our existing berm to accommodate the installation of a beautiful fence and plant interesting new trees and bushes to enhance and transform our back and side property. We’re looking forward to enjoying your work for many years! We could not have achieved this without your design skills and awesome team who made it all happen! I highly recommend you and your team to anyone who is looking to improve and update their outdoor spaces. Well done!

Jill was a pleasure to work with. She is very professional and really knows her stuff! We had a drainage problem in the front of our house and she solved it in a very attractive way. We loved her work so much that we then had her redo our back yard. We highly recommend her for whatever your landscape needs.

Jill is an absolute GEM to work with! I worked with Jill around a water issue we had with our sump pump in the front of my yard. Jill and her team came up with a wonderful design that fixed our issue and made it look beautiful and intentional. I had Jill come back to do some additional landscaping around my house. She listens to what you want and provides a one of a kind design with color and texture. So many people have commented on how wonderful my landscaping looks. I couldn’t recommend Jill more!!! She’s lovely to work with and so knowledgeable!!! She recommended a landscaping mister system for me since i joked that i hated watering. She helped me decide on what i needed to order and even came over to help me with some tips and tricks to install it. Jill is a gem!!!!

Jill did an amazing job transforming our yard! Now I feel happy every time I pull into the driveway and see how beautiful everything looks. Her design is gorgeous and she used some very fun and interesting plants in addition to traditional favorites. I really enjoy the colors that she suggested to complement our house and I love the way that everything works together. She's a real artist and also extremely knowledgeable about plants and what will work well.
I wanted something that looked good but was also very low maintenance and Jill really listened and worked with me to find the right items for us. Jill did a great job taking my input and using it to guide her vision for our yard. I love it.
Jill and her crew definitely went above and beyond and she's been very easy to reach for questions and follow up. I'd highly recommend working with Jill.

Roberta, I loved meeting you. It's so much fun to work with super creative people. Thank you very much for your kind words and you- nice lady- were a lovely client to get to know. I sincerely appreciate the confidence you placed in me.
Jill helped design our backyard with ideas for the trees I wanted and incorporating some of her ideas. One of the initial lilac bushes planted died within 30 days. I had to plead with her to replace it which she met with resistance but ultimately replaced it. Additionally, an expensive Norway Spruce that she installed died within 8 months of planting. I know that garden centers guarantee their plantings for 1 year. Jill refused to replace. So now I have a gaping hole in my garden design. Make sure you select a designer that guarantees their plantings for a year!!

Nancy, I am so sorry you are unhappy . Just to clear this up - We did replace your lilac a few weeks after planting it. I replaced it because it "did not look good to you" it was absolutely not dead . I am so very sorry your spruce died 8 months after being planted. I offered you a tree guarantee. There is an extra charge for the guarantee and you had the option to pay for a guarantee and choose not to and I certainly wish you would have,

Jill is amazing! She has completely transformed our yard from blah to beautiful. We know nothing about landscaping, and Jill came to our rescue with the most awesome design plan. She gave us the pizzazz we were looking for, with plants and flowers I didn’t even know existed. All work was done quickly and efficiently, and Jill’s expertise is second to none. She’s a sweet lady who loves what she does, and worked to make sure that we’re happy with the final result. I’ll recommend her to everyone I know.

Jill made all of my landscaping dreams come true this spring! After years of trying to design my flower beds myself and wasting so much money on the plants that just didn’t work for one reason or another, I finally contacted Jill to help me redesign my front curb appeal. She did an amazing job! Not only was she wonderful to work with, but her knowledge and expertise is exceptional. Additionally, she implemented landscape lighting which really was a beautiful finishing touch to the job. I look forward to watching my garden bloom and thrive each season now, instead of the dread I used to feel thinking about figuring out a new landscape plan on my own. Thank you so much Jill!

We hired Jill to completely redesign the front and both sides of our house and we could not be happier! We did not have a lot of ideas of our own so relied heavily on her (obvious) expertise. Jill was very patient with us, showing us lots of pictures to get an idea of what we liked and didn’t like. Less than 2 weeks later, we met again to go over her design sketch and proposal and the work was completed the following week.
I love that Jill chooses “hard working” plants that look good throughout the changing seasons, change colors, bloom multiple times, etc to keep our yard looking it’s best year-round. The landscaper she works with dug out our 30 year-old shrubs, planted, mulched and cleaned up in one day. Jill was there the whole day helping out and making sure everything was done to plan. We went from bulky, Yew shrubs lining the house on all sides to beautiful, clean, interesting landscaping.
After the job was finished, Jill even recommended an inexpensive watering system for us, put together a list of all the parts we would need for it, AND created a sketch of our garden showing how we should layout the system. Jill definitely went above and beyond. I would absolutely recommend Jill (and have!).

I hired Jill to give a refresh to my current landscaping. I loved working with Jill! She spent a significant amount of time with me to get a feeling of my likes/dislikes, and to learn exactly what I was looking for. She came back with a plan which we reviewed together and agreed upon. We agreed on an installation date and she was there the entire time ensuring everything was what we discussed and she took the time to explain how to care for the newly installed shrubs, plants, etc. I love how everything turned out! Jill and her team are wonderful and would hire them again in an instant! Thanks Jill!

Jill is amazing to work with and we couldn't be happier with how our front landscaping turned out! I had very specific requirements based on my preferences and the strong, direct sun we get in the front and what plants would thrive in that environment. Jill's expertise and recommendations were invaluable! She was able to "get me" and understand my style and desires in one meeting and delivered exactly what I wanted! I first used Jill for my garden design on my old house - 12 years ago, and I was extremely happy with the job -- and every year afterwards, my front garden kept getting better! So I called her again last summer for my new house. Once again, I was delighted with her ideas, her expertise, her honesty, and the professionalism of Jill and her crew! Jill Davis is a very easy to work with. From the start she listened to what I wanted to achieve in the front of my house. She used her expertise in choosing plants that would work well with what I already have. She also took some of my plants and moved them to other areas to enhance the property and show off those plants. On the day of installation, she was present from the start to the finish to guide the crew where all plants were to be placed. I would recommend Jill Davis Design to anyone who wants a beautiful landscaping. I would use this company again without hesitation!

I couldn't be more pleased with the beautiful design, and the quality of plants and work that was done on our landscaping. Jill took a very drab and overgrown area in the front of our home, and changed it into a very warm, beautiful and inviting entryway that I am now loving, and no longer embarrassed to have people walk up to my home. Jill is a lot of fun, easy to work with, and dedicates herself to creating a wonderful space.

I worked with Jill in the spring. She redesigned my front landscape and installed an amazing watering system.
Jill was just fantastic! She had awesome ideas and picked out plants that I would have never considered on my own. As a result, my front landscape is full of color and fun plants that are 'hard workers'. Jill planted the most incredible rose bushes I have ever seen. I would look out my windows everyday at those rose bushes and this year they were still blooming in November!
I would happily recommed Jill for any landscape design project large or small!

I needed to add some curb appeal to my front yard and Jill did just that. She listened carefully to my ideas, made suggestions and explained what I could expect of the plants we chose. In addition, Jill supervised every step of the planting and periodically checked back with me to make sure that I was satisfied. The result was a beautiful front yard that fit my style perfectly. I can’t wait to see my yard come to life next Spring!

Jill worked with us this Spring to come up with a design for our pond and backyard that grows more lovely and lush as the days go on. She was wonderful to work with and listens to learn what you want, but at the same time directs you to plants that are best for you. She knows her plants. I love her philosophy...."make the plants work for you!"...meaning they must bring beauty to your garden at each stage of the season. We are looking forward to working together again.

I just completed a large front yard renovation with Jill and couldn't be happier.
She has a great eye for design and really knows which plants will work in your setting and give you the maximum impact.
Jill designed not only the garden beds but also hardscaping, including a new brick walkway and new driveway. Her client communication is excellent - I seldom had to wait more than half an hour for a response to any question or concern. She was on site the entire time for the plant material installation to make sure everything was perfect. Her crew was neat, efficient, and professional. And she made sure I was 100% satisfied on completion. I continue to get compliments from the neighbors on how well the project turned out. I would not hesitate to hire her again for future projects.

I loved working with Jill. She made sure her design fit my wishes and needs. She also made sure the plants would fit my current design and most importantly - the unique micro-culture of my garden - part of which is like a bog. I've worked with three other professionals before who weren't nearly as knowledgeable about the plants and the environments in which they would be placed. As a plus - she was fun to work with.

Jill is amazing! Her vision for my yard was exactly what I wanted! She worked with me to create a beautiful landscape. I am on a corner lot and many neighbors compliment my yard as they walk by.
She was on site while the landscapers were installing the plants and she made sure it was completed perfectly!
Jill will definitely be my garden coach for any future plans!! Plus...we had fun working together! I highly recommend Jill Davis!!!

I came across Jill Davis Design while browsing through landscape design photos on the Houzz website. I decided to contact Jill to get some help updating our front yard landscaping. I found her to be extremely knowledgeable, professional and enthusiastic from the very beginning. Jill did not just "update" the landscaping but gave us a front yard that I absolutely LOVE! Throughout the design process, Jill made sure to take into account what we like and worked hard to create a space that we can enjoy for many years to come. Jill is a very enthusiastic person to work with and has plenty of good ideas. Her work crew is the best I've ever used. Her plants were amazing, perfect, healthy, large. They were so much better than the stuff other people planted for me years ago. She knows which plants will do well and which ones that are not worth the effort. Jill personally supervised each specimen that was planted. If it was not just right, it was replanted to her liking.
Everything looked beautiful for the remainder of the summer and I'm anxiously awaiting to see my PJM rhododendron and tree peony in full bloom this spring. Jill and her crew were a delight to work with. We received so many compliments from the neighbors on her work.
Her work was finished in a timely and professional manner. She was over budget, but I understood the reasons for that.

Jill redesigned and planted three different areas in our yard. She really listened to what we wanted, gave great recommendations, and completed the work well. Jill has a real heart for making her clients happy and a passion for beautiful landscape. She is responsive and has answered all of my questions without making me feel foolish. She has encouraged me to experiment in my yard on my own too. Soon after we started working together, my mom passed away. Jill was so kind to make our family a meal and plant a special plant in my mom's memory in my new garden. Jill is someone special! I highly recommend her and plan to use her again for future projects.

Jill created a design that really transformed our yard. She listened to our ideas, and then created a personalized design for our front garden beds. She worked within our budget and had the project completed on schedule. Jill also outlined a maintenance plan for us to follow to keep our plants healthy and to keep them blooming through out the spring, summer and fall.

Jill helped me take my yard from old and tired to clean and beautiful. Her design gives me something fun for every season. Especially in the spring my neighbors tell me they love driving by my house. I will hire Jill again and again. :)

My wife and I are novices when it comes to landscaping, but needed to do something with the front of our house. We like DIY projects, but the more we researched landscaping, the more confusing it became. I met Jill when she was conducting a learning seminar at the local nursery. She was very knowledgeable with seemingly all varieties of local plant life. Most of all, we liked her style and approach to each and every project. She works with her clients closely to come up with amazing landscapes they want while adding her great sense of style to each project. We could not be happier with how the front of our house looks and can't wait to do more. We will be using Jill for many more projects in the coming years.

It was a delight working with Jill Davis. Jill's knowledge is very extensive and impressive. Jill listens to your vision of what you want your garden to become,all within your budget and time frame "a real professional". My garden went from very plane to "look at me now".!!!!

Jill Davis Design has planned many gardens and designed numerous pots for me through the years. They are all so different no matter what time of year. She does ask what I want or would like, yet I trust her to just create. She is quite a master. A few years ago, I wanted to update my holiday decorating "inside" my home. I was not quite sure what I wanted. She knows what I like and got busy! It was truly spectacular! I would highly recommend her for any design I your garden, pots and holiday for ideas that are most unique.

Jill designed a new landscape design for the front of our two story home.She spent a great deal of time listening to my ideas and offered suggestions for what would look good in this area. Together, we poured through catalogs, selecting the right varieties and colors of shrubs and bushes. This was indeed a team effort where my input was valued and respected. Jill drew up a plan and enthusiastically carried it out with her team of workers. My husband and I are happy with the updated look that Jill was able to provide.
It was a delightful experience, and we would hire her again!

Jill provided landscaping and garden design services for our yard & gardens. Her plans were very detailed and suitable for our spaces. Besides her great ideas, she also has a vast amount of knowledge and expertise in her field. I can't wait to see how lovely the spring gardens look, where she planted 2200 bulbs!!! She also created an awesome view out of our family room windows incorporating 5 types of hydrangas for fall colors. Jill is very attentive to your needs & wishes. She uses the best plant materials available & her staff works efficiently & being respectful of your existing gardens. Jill is the best!!!

Jill not only has helped me with our landscape, but she puts together wonderful festive pots for my front porch for every season. Jill is extremely knowledgable and creative.
