Her History For over 40 years Kathy's family has been a professional full service painting and remodeling company. Providing exceptional interior and exterior painting, faux finishing, kitchen cabinet refinishing, and decorating advice. Kathy brings a woman's touch and a magazine ready approach to some of the nicest houses in the area. Family Owned As a family-owned business, we care about what matters to you. Your home. If those expectations aren't met, her team will work tirelessly to ensure their projects are completed to the full satisfaction of her clients. On the rare occasion something is not right the first time, Kathy will go the extra mile to make sure it’s right. Preparation It's all in how you prepare the job at the beginning. Projects don't fail at the end. They fail from lack of planning and prep work. Which includes sanding, spackling, leveling and taping. These preparation steps must be completed flawlessly before painting. Our jobs may cost a bit more then others in the area, but it's worth every penny.

Kathy was great to work with and produced a beautiful result with our fireplace. I needed a solution for the stone on our 1926 fireplace, as it had been painted with flat white paint and looked terrible. I wanted it to look like natural stone again. Kathy did faux painting (with a partner that she hired). I couldn't be happier with the result. It looks absolutely beautiful! She started with an eyesore and turned it into a beautiful focal point in our living room. I am delighted!

I contracted with Kathy Arnold Painting and Remodeling to give my 2,800 sq ft home a fresh update and makeover. I relied on Kathy's experience, expertise, and awareness of market trends. She has successfully transformed my home beyond my expectations. My home required interior painting and refinishing. My door frames were stained as well as the baseboards, and all trim. Her helper also updated my cabinets. They replaced the Masonite sides of my kitchen island, desk, and the ends of my cabinets with 1/4" birch veneer giving all items an elegant look and then stained to match the wood work. Kathy also noticed that my large, expensive entertainment center had base damage. She refinished the stained base and made it look new again! That was especially satisfying since I had tried for the past ten (10) years to have it unsuccessfully repaired. Kathy made meaningful suggestions throughout the project while being conscientious about my concerns. Kathy works closely with her Superintendent, Glen King, who is an accomplished carpenter and painter. I heartily recommend Kathy and Glen for your next project.

I placed a request through Houzz for someone to remove paint from a 1926 stone fireplace. In less than 5 minutes, Kathy had called me. She had great ideas, and listened carefully to what we are trying to accomplish. I'm looking forward to working with her!

The finished product has a very professional look to it and really modernized the overall look of the kitchen. Though the process getting there was less than ideal and there were many issues along the way. Everyday after they were "done" with a part of the job I would have to go and inspect their work because they would leave obvious issues/mistakes (ex: forgetting to paint sections, getting paint on adjacent counters/walls/floors/baseboard, leaving large dried drip marks). The attached picture is an example of what they would have considered "done". The finished product looks great, but we would not hire them again. If you do hire them, make sure to inspect the work before you bless off on it.

Being first time homeowners we were attempting to be cautious and careful about hiring our first painting contractor to paint the entire first floor of our new home. After meeting with Kathy and discussing the project we felt like we had met the right person. The project took a full week and it was certainly worth it. Kathy and her team arrived on time each day. They did a fantastic restoration on the walls smoothing out cracks and previous picture hanging holes. Their paint job was excellent and we are so pleased with the results. Her team even went above and beyond by fixing a couple of issues with our stair banister! They finished the project on time and on budget. We highly recommend Kathy Arnold Painting.

Kathy and her carpenter/painter Glen, did a fabulous job in our 20 year old kitchen. Through their exceptional painting and carpentry skills they brought beauty and new life to our cabinets, island and wet bar. In addition, they transformed an unused built in desk to match the island and wet bar ... providing extra counter space which we turned into a breakfast station. Our project also included the removal of cabinets and a wine rack over the wet bar which opened the space up to the family room giving it a fresh updated look! Their finishing touch was painting the walls and voila ... a beautiful kitchen! My husband and I are thrilled with the results and look forward to future projects with Kathy and Glen. We highly recommend them!

Kathy's team did a beautiful job on my 113 year old home. We had a lot of holes in both plaster and drywall from updating our electric with another company. Our walls and ceiling were meticulously restored and now they look brand new. It's amazing! We were very impressed with the level of skill and professionalism that Kathy's team displayed. I am beyond pleased with the finished product and I highly recommend Kathy Arnold.
