Our landscaping goals were new plantings for the front foundation and the island in our driveway circle. We wanted plants that are deer resistant, drought tolerant, and easy to maintain. The projects done by Verdant View, LLC that were posted on houzz resonated with us. Kathy was responsive and professional; her pleasant personality made the entire process enjoyable. She listened carefully to our needs and was willing to spend time discussing options. Kathy designed a thoughtful and creative garden design with an eye to our budget. Her crew was hard working and attentive to detail, and Kathy was happy to arrange for them to provide support after the plantings. The end result was a beautiful welcoming entrance to our home.

We loved working with Kathy from the start of the project design to the final installation. She designed a beautiful landscape project for our new pool area and it looks beautiful! She even took us to the nursery to show us many of the plants she was recommending. She is efficient and responsive.

Kathy came highly recommended by an avid gardener, which I thought was interesting and impressive! Wow, have I had my dreams fulfilled! She listened so carefully, and then guided me to develop a realistic plan that included thoughtful cost analysis, hardscape features, local growing conditions, pond and wetlands, my own excitement about plants and flowers and feedback as we went along. At the end I gave myself the gift of having her do my planters and I feel like it s my birthday every day!

We truly enjoyed working with Verdant View for our landscaping project! Kathy was thoughtful and accommodating and had great ideas to provide a solution for our backyard. The result was a beautiful, idyllic setting to complement our patio and make our home's outdoor area a tranquil, inviting space.

We hired Kathy Moreau to design multiple gardens for our two acre property in Pound Ridge. And we were not disappointed! Kathy proved to be everything we could hope for in a landscape designer. A delight to work with, Kathy was thoroughly committed to listening to our needs and providing solutions. Her designs were highly professional, and carefully detailed, as well as creative and original. She was able to completely transform our entry and courtyard areas into elegant spaces that truly compliment our home. We plan to continue to work with Kathy and would highly recommend Verdant View!

Kathy Moreau transformed our property into a beautiful landscape. Our objectives were five fold. First, replace and re position our driveway which dangerously morphed into a black ice pond. Second, create a small central garden. Third, construct a BBQ area. Fourth, connect these areas into a cohesive courtyard which linked house, BBQ area and barn. Finally, plant appropriate trees on our property with the goal of creating privacy around our home. The results were wonderful! Kathy was the consummate professional and a joy to work with on our project. Her ability to listen, comprehend and translate our landscaping needs into reality were spectacular. Her best qualities were: First, she was always available. Second, she promptly returned all emails or phone calls. Third, she dealt with all issues openly, fairly and in an exceptionally honest manner. Fourth, her attention to detail was spot-on. During our planning and planting phases she tirelessly reworked and revised plans and actual plantings until our goals were achieved. Not least among her talents was her instinctive creative ability. Our new landscape is proof of her genius!

Verdant View brought my New York City terrace from zero to WOW! My outdoor space has been challenging for me in the past due to shade conditions in an urban environment, but Kathy immediately knew what would thrive-- she's a botanical whiz. I now have perfectly private year-round screening from the neighbors (a major goal of mine), bright, low-maintenance florals, and even a micro-farm for my own herbs and veggies. I have lost track of how many compliments I've already received!
