Keith Mazzei Interiors recently completed a beautiful interior design renovation for us at our home in Locust Valley NY. Being a Registered Architect, I of course thought my design ideas were the best and I only needed a Designer to help with color, texture etc. I couldn't have been more wrong, every design idea that Keith came up with blew my wife and I away. My association with Keith Mazzei is largely professional. I wrote his Website and his professional biography. I have also had the pleasure to visit the apartment that he designed next door to the condo where I live in Pompano Beach, FL. Stellar! It is a very contemporary interior with a wonderful use of space and natural light. The condo is very functional and ideal for entertaining. The kitchen was designed to work especially well for a gourmet cook. Keith is an extremely personable man. It is extremely easy to communicate with him. Based on our the ease of our relationship, I am sure that he would be an absolute dream to work with on even a complex interior design project.

Keith Mazzei, of Keith Mazzei Interiors, is the reason my house is a stunning home. Upon first meeting with Keith, he really listened to what I told him about my lifestyle, my family and how I wanted my home to function, look and feel. Over the next 18 months while my home was being built, he helped me make my vision a reality. HOW? Because Keith does it all. He is not a decorator, he an INTERIOR designer. Big difference. He helped me design my home from the inside out. He looked at my drawings and started to question " Where would you like your furniture? Do you want lights by your bed? Do you cook often? Will you need a double frig? How many holidays a year do you host a year? Is a large dining table important to you? How about a work/ computer/ recharging station for your family's electronics?" Etc etc. Room by room Keith makes sure each one is tailored to the homeowners needs and desires. He thought of absolutely everything. Without Keith I would not have known when or where to pick out everything for my home. No worries, he takes care of that. He books the appointments to choose tile, windows, door knobs, moldings, flooring, drapery, lighting, brick, stone, paint, wallpaper, furniture, accents ...you name it. And he shows up with a smile! Most times he will even pick you up himself and take you there. Once the practical part of the job was laid out, the fun of beautiful decor came next. Keith's instinctive nature of knowing how to use color and mix and match fabrics is like no other. He is a true custom designer. Each home he designs stands out from the other, no two are alike. Next, Keith's contacts ( wallpaper hangers, decorative painters, carpenters etc) are superb. The best part... Keith deals with them. You as the client pick what you like and he instructs them and makes sure they follow through with the job. The hassle is out of your hands and the designer deals with it all. Last, is budget, because budget is important to all of us, no matter how big or small your project is. My husband and I gave Keith our budget, and he made sure we stayed right in that budget. He is precise in his numbers and wasn't afraid to say to me " I don't like how that looks or that is too much! It's not in your budget...we can do better!" Keith's honesty and drive for client satisfaction is what impressed me the most. He loves what he does and he cares about the people he works for. We moved into our home 6 months ago and I still can't believe this is my home. Not only is it stunning, it has the flow I always wanted. It is functional for my three sons and fun and beautiful to entertain adults as well. My home will be featured on a house tour next month and I know it was chosen because Keith Mazzei designed this home.
