I’ve known Paul from Kilrea Construction for several years, and have been interested in working with him high end residential remodel projects in San Francisco since we first met in 2013. I was very happy to have been able to finally work with him in 2016 on a full condo remodel and home office addition in a multi-family building in the Mission District of San Francisco. Paul and his team were a real pleasure to work with. They were very professional and diligent, kept the site very clean and were very respectful, kept everyone in the building happy in regards to the working conditions and keeping the common spaces clean and clear. He knew when to call me (the architect/designer) to the site any review issues as they came up, and was very respectful of my time and the meetings were kept very focused and succint. They had very good ideas and solutions to present to me when I did come, and did not mind rolling with any changes or revisions the owner or I had as they inevitably came up through the process. The best part of being an architect of course is seeing the vision you have planned worked out in real life, hopefully exactly as it is on paper. I can’t say how many times this has not happened, but working with Paul it did. All the details I had in mind were pulled over exactly as expected. I can’t stress enough how important this is. The results were beautiful, and efforts Paul and his team made were quite remarkable.
