Kitchen Saver

Kitchen Saver uses thermafoil for their cupboards which does not stand up to regular use of your range, toaster or kettle. They do not warn you about this nor do they advise you to use your fan whenever cooking. We do have a powerful fan however it does help with the once daily use of the toaster which has caused the thermafoil to lift from the underside of the cupboard door. We hosted a Ukrainian family for two and a half months and the Mom boiled fruit for hours, several times each week to make juice for her two year old. This resulted in the thermafoil lifting all around the light valance (the microwave sits on top). When I sent pictures to Kitchen Saver and multiple emails they asked what I wanted done with it (?). It's extremely obvious what needs to be done. As it was caused by moisture they do not cover this under warranty however they quoted me $398 to replace it. Fortunately I married a handyman and he fixed it perfectly at no cost and he fixed it without thermafoil. Also, they said they do not use strips. We saw their workman bring and stick on tape. It will no doubt separate eventually. If you do go with Kitchen Saver, to save money (reputable cabinet makers do not use thermafoil for obvious reasons) make sure you pull out your range before you cook and make sure your toaster, kettle etc are no where near your cupboards. Their warranty states 'Laminate and cabinet work carries a 5 year warranty except for willful or malicious damage'. The damage done was not wilful nor malicious and should be covered.

Material used does not with stand heat. Cabinets and crown mould installed was starting to Peel and “shrink”, it almost looks like shrink wrap used in wine bottles. This happened within 18 mos of installation. When identified there was no support provided. I would not recommend. Not the appropriate material if you actually cook in your kitchen. Started to complain in 2021 with no avail.

Kitchen Saver SAVED my kitchen indeed! From the moment we met Evan for our consultation,,who did all he could to help save money where we could,,,had fantastic ideas! When I wasn’t sure,,,Jamie at the show room went out of her way to help me pickout the perfect countertop for us! As all Reno’s,,,we had a few hiccups,,,but nothing that wasn’t fixed and taken care of in a timely manner! Terrible service- wrong sized counter installed, said it could not be fixed (lied) then one year later there was a leak from the plumbing for the sink that went to our basement and caused the ceiling to leak. They claimed that it was our fault and refused to pay for damages even when the plumber said they installed the counter top incorrectly- too small hole was made making them crack a part of the sink hose at installation.

Fantastic reface job by Kitchen Savers. Couldn't be happier - absolutely love the results. Great customer service and would recommend Kitchen Savers London 100%.

The man who came to quote was abrupt unprofessional & patronising. He had a ipad & was all about the money. When my budget didn't meet his expectations he scoffed closed his ipad & basically told me I was wasting his time. The horrible experience lasted less than 10 mins & I have never been treated so disgracefully by someone in my own home !!!!!!!!!!!! Or outside of it to be honest......
