Lanai Doors

We are so happy that we used Lanai Doors. Elizabeth and Carol were very informative and professional. The quality and craftsmanship are amazing and the most important factor for us was the ability to customize the size of the doors. We would highly recommend Lanai Doors to anyone who is interested in having a beautiful custom sliding door.

I am thrilled with my Lanai Bi-Fold Doors and their Centor S1 screen, which I installed a year ago! When I open the doors, I feel like I am part of the outdoors. The screen that comes with them is almost invisible and very sturdy. The doors are well made, fit perfectly, are easy to use, and BEAUTIFUL! Purchased two sets of accordion doors for our house. This has been the best investment we have made during this remodel. Lanai Doors has a fantastic, knowledgeable staff that helps you through the entire process. I recommend them to my contractor and all my friends. They are my first choice when choosing door options.

We love our Lani Doors however we are very disappointed with the the screen door system they recommended. We consistently have small bugs (knatts) that appear to be getting through and into our home and the screen itself is difficult to clean. I would recommend Lani to anyone but get a different screen system.

I am a general contractor in Laguna Beach who recently installed two sets of Lanai Bi-fold door systems. The products were excellent. Assembly was easy due to the high quality of the doors, jambs etc. The operation and movements of the doors are smooth and easy on the user. Above and beyond is their customer service. I had a few questions while installing. I was instantly connected to Jack to answer my technical questions. He was polite, friendly and took time to make sure all of my needs were met. We installed four separate sets of bi-fold Lanai Doors for our kitchen and bedroom remodel project: 2 sets in the kitchen (each a twelve-foot span) and one nine-foot span set in each of two bedrooms. All the doors are flush between the house and the back deck that overlooks the backyard and pool. We LOVE these doors!! We have had them for a year-and-a-half, and they still look and operate like new. We occasionally need to have our contractor make minor adjustments on the doors because of the house settling and/or weather changes, but the company had told us to expect that. And it's totally not a big deal at all. I most appreciate how these doors look like traditional glass doors and do not scream out "modern wall-less doors" at all. Visitors are always amazed when we unlatch the doors and open them all the way up. They never suspected they could do that! This more traditional door look matches the rest of our home's decor. We chose to also install the screen system that Lanai Doors partners with (the screen system is made by a different manufacturer but specifically designed for Lanai Doors). We use the screens a lot since we like to keep the doors wide open on nice days, but we don't want a stray cat (or raccoon!) to sneak into the house. Also, the screens are handy at night for keeping out bugs attracted to the interior lights. For installation, we used our general contractor who was doing all the construction work on our remodel. He had never installed this type of door before, but Lanai was very helpful in answering any questions that came up. And he successfully installed them without a problem. If we need to purchase another set of bi-fold doors, we would go with Lanai Doors in a heart beat, no question!

We absolutely love our Lanai Doors! We live in the city with very little outdoor space and wanted to bring the outdoors inside our home. We replaced a window with the custom made lanai doors and the change it made inside our home was unbelievable. The company was extremely easy to work with and helped us along the way. I admit I was very nervous dealing with a company in another state and one that I found on the internet. I took a leap of faith and couldn't be happier with our purchase.

We purchased our home in late Spring 2015 and knew immediately that we wanted to find a way to brighten our living space as well as to fully enjoy the Pacific Northwest Weather, specifically the fabulous mild summers. We knew a Lanai Door System would to do just that! Coastal Innovative Products was great from order to install. They helped us determine the right system for our budget and space, provided accurate lead time from order to arrival, and above and beyond by answering install questions on a Saturday! Our contractor was especially impressed with how well they package the doors for shipping. Our house isn't done yet, but once it is I'll be sure to post more pictures! So excited to bring the outdoors in!!

Fantastic service, including design. Helpful with coaching me through the installation. No damage from shipment, easy to install, and after two years, still works very well. The system was installed in Wisconsin where the winters are harsh. Visitors to our house are amazed by the product. Only "miss" on the project was color coordination of the screen system with the door system. The door system was stained dark on the inside, but the metal housing for the screen was painted to match the outside of the door system. I think the spec should be updated to make the customer consider this.
