We met Beth Rosenfield after we moved into a larger home in New Canaan CT and wanted to initially redesign the living room. Our goal was to marry the best existing elements of the previous owners from the NYC fashion world with our personal style and vision of a classic, elegant Connecticut colonial. As professionals in Medicine and Finance, we needed a certain person to help us navigate the daunting choices with utmost professionalism, attention to detail and ability to take us on the design journey. Beth has exceeded all of our expectations and more. Additionally she is a lovely person and we genuinely really enjoy working together. We’ve moved on to other rooms in the house and receive rave reviews from friends & family on our home’s transformation. We would highly recommend working with Beth on any interior design projects!

Beth LISTENS!! And hears what you're saying and helps to discover what YOU really want! She was professional in her approach. She put together multiple designs for the room as we went forward with the project, found items that would work for me and found them in places that we wouldn't have to wait a huge amount of time. And in this day and age of delay, that counts. I felt her billing was absolutely fair and in line. I never felt she billed for too many hours after the initial package price was exhausted (by me). I feel great every time I walk in to that room. And the other rooms she helped with on ideas. Beth is a winner. One of those true gems you are lucky to find. Vinny

Beth is a top-notch designer and we have really enjoyed working with her. She is an excellent listener and works diligently to take her clients concerns and apply them to the design process. The scope of the project was to purchase new furniture and rugs for a dining room and living room. Beth Rosenfield Design provided me with several choices of fabric, furniture options and colors yet did not overwhelm me with too many choices which helped me select quickly. The quality of the products she works with is excellent, reliable, very high quality. Each item was emailed to me with dimensions, selected colors, and price. Her communication with the holding company and with her client was timely and clear. BRD is classic yet up-to-date adding warmth and style to my home. The look and feeling that I was wanting to achieve was met with great accolades to BRD design capabilities.

Beth is the kind of designer we all hope for...on time, on budget, creative and a great listener. She works very hard to accommodate your needs while gently making suggestions to help ideas grow and flourish. She helped me design and implement a new look for my living room, including a couch, bench, chair, carpet and a table for behind the couch with two interesting and functional lamps. Her association with a furniture manufacturer in North Carolina was the winning touch. We reviewed several furniture designs and a slew of fabric swatches to come up with a combination I would never have considered on my own. She read me well! I am thrilled with the end result. She also has local connections and has an eagle eye to find things on line to complement the final design plan. I highly recommend Beth for her expertise, her interpersonal skills and professionalism.

After living for decades in a Manhattan apartment, my husband and I made the decision to start fresh when we recently purchased a 4,000+ sq. ft. home in Fairfield County, CT. We moved into our new home with only a grand piano, an oversized personal library of rare and out-of-print books and music, and a loosely-defined plan to furnish our home. Based on immediate needs, and somewhat hindered by COVID shopping restrictions and shipping delays, we took a scattered approach as we began to furnish our home with predictably disappointing results. Luckily, the design services of Beth Rosenfield were gifted to my husband and me and it turned out to be the best housewarming gift we received! Beth patiently listened to our unstructured thoughts and vision for our home, asked pointed questions about design preferences, project scope, timeline and budget and then delivered a thoughtful, custom-tailored plan that skillfully minimized the impact of our original unsatisfactory choices while providing expert guidance on creating the living environment we hoped for. All of the suggestions Beth made for the main floor have been implemented or are in progress and we are delighted with the results. Our house is slowly being transformed into a beautiful home that reflects our personal tastes and preferences. We will continue to call upon Beth to satisfy our ongoing decorating plans.

Excellent! This was the first major project I have done with a designer and Beth helped guide me (which is necessary when you don't know where to begin!) through the process keeping her eye on our budget and selecting furniture, paint colors, accessories, etc. that enhance the end product to present it as something more expensive than our budget (which we kept to!). Beth was attentive and available every step of the way. My husband and I as well as our adult kids feel so comfortable and happy with the new look. I also appreciated her guidance on other areas of our home -- it was quite the bonus!

We engaged with Beth to redo our living room/dining room are after seeing beautiful examples of her work website. The room had an odd layout due to the location of the windows and fireplace. She came up with a creative and elegant way to accomplish our goals in the confines of the space. Beth is professional, patient and a great listener. She didn’t push her tastes creative views on us and was supportive and open minded. She was an absolutely pleasure to work with.

My 1920’s cottage used to be a stable on a larger country estate. Instilling fresh style while retaining the historical features and character of the home is of the utmost importance to me. Beth respects the history of my home, and my need to work on projects over time without rushing. She has provided insight and helpful advice on so many different aspects of my home. She selected stunning wallpaper and fixtures for my planned master bathroom renovation, figured out the best furniture layout for my unique floor plan, found lovely seating that transformed my large, glassed in sunroom, and helped me fine tune paint colors in several rooms. She’s very detail oriented, considers all the options, and often comes up with ideas I never thought of. She’s also very patient, kind, and funny, which makes our design meetings fun. I highly recommend Beth for design projects large or small!

It's not easy to find a designer who "gets" mid-century modern architecture the way Beth does! I've worked for several architecture and design magazines so I have lots of decorating ideas. But, I needed Beth to help me make my dreams a reality. She has helped me with a variety of on-going projects for our modern home. She has a unique finesse for mixing and matching modern and traditional while never imposing a "center-hall colonial" design into our modern home. I'm so glad I found her!

Beth Rosenfield did an excellent job transforming dated rooms into warm spaces that blended traditional and current elements beautifully. In fact, I have received endless compliments on everything from light fixtures to fabrics chosen by Beth. Not only does she offer excellent advice as a designer, but she also respects our budget, regularly offering items that range from splurges to steals. I have been more than happy with every project we have done with Beth and will certainly call on her again in the future without hesitation.
