We are an award-winning interior design firm known for a luxurious and organic aesthetic. We specialize in high-end residential projects across the United States and have a passion for giving back to the arts. We truly believe that exceptional design can provide balance to all parts of life. Our homes are where we live our lives — spaces and rooms where we gather, relax, rejuvenate, and so much more. When we approach a new project, we honor these activities and the people in their environments as places to create a beautiful life. Our team’s priority is to interpret the individual needs of each client — we work seamlessly together to create this ideal living environment. We achieve this balance through the use of scale and proportion, the combination of architectural elements, lighting details, and organic flow. We love the natural environment; therefore we keep the visual connection between the built and the natural from the very beginning of a project. From the first strokes on a sketchpad to hanging that last piece of art on the wall — the journey is worth it. In 2019, we launched our digital fundraising campaigns, MannKind. Our goal is to bring awareness to the nonprofits and projects we support and work with. We are focused on giving back to education, the arts, and our local communities.

Squared Away

We have had the great privilege of working alongside Shannon and her team on several Houston projects. Watching them turn a client’s vision into a magical reality never gets old! But the real magic is that they achieve great success by bringing out the best in others. They are able to turn a naturally chaotic process into one that flows seamlessly by creating an atmosphere where all are valued, respected and encouraged. Their positive energy is infectious and it truly inspires all involved to strive for excellence!

Mann Designs has done such big-hearted design work for our non-profit and the arts education community partner schools we serve. They have gone into the schools and spruced up rooms with color and thoughtful design, making the children - who are mostly economically disadvantaged - feel worthy of beautiful spaces. One recent project was the "Wavemaker Room" - a fun space at our elementary school partner that involved so much work by MDS and their community of generous vendors. It's now a space full of great energy with colorful rugs, lights, signs, paint, and furniture - especially a unique wall unit with a cubby hole for the children to sit in and relax or read. The students' faces when they walked into the room were priceless, just full of wonder and joy. Thank you, Shannon and your team, for making our students feel so special.

I have been a fan of Mann Designs for many years. It started when my husband and I were furnishing our first home together. We have an eclectic style when it comes to our interior design preferences. We like French antiques and modern with a little contemporary mixed in. We weren't interested in furniture off the showroom floor and neither is Shannon. She has the creative vision to combine furnishings from differing eras or genres utilizing a soothing mix of color, texture, shapes and materials, and always with an earthy, organic grounding. When you walk into a home she has designed you immediately want to kick off your shoes and settle in.

Shannon has helped me on numerous personal projects and not only is she a breath of fresh air as a human being, but she is also a truly talented designer. Aside from just knowing the right thing for the job, she takes the time to know the uniqueness of that person which translate to an incredible design for her clients. There is no cookie cutter look and everything she does and every detail is just exquisite.
