After earning her BFA in Interior Design from Iowa State University, she set out on a path to create interiors for her clients that share elegant lines and graphic patterns, with an impeccable mix of sophistication and serenity. By employing playful patterns, modern lines and engaging patterns, Meghan brings a unique twist on traditional welcoming interiors. With her energetic flair, Meghan is not afraid to nudge clients out of their design comfort zone to a totally new look. Another important feature for Meghan is to ask questions and listens carefully to their answers, because through this she can figure out exactly what the client needs. I hired Meghan Blum Interiors in May 2016 on the recommendation of a friend. I have been working with designer Brielle Allen since that time, and although my project is not 100% finished, I could not be happier. One of the biggest advantages to working with Brielle was that she did a lot of the legwork for me. She provided 3-4 flooring and granite samples that would work in my space and had me choose from there. (I later walked into a granite warehouse and was so overwhelmed by the number of choices)! I also appreciated that although Brielle had thousands of custom products available from the showroom, she was not at all pushy or aggressive when I chose to go a less expensive route on a few items. I appreciate that she follows up on items I have ordered and work that I have had done to ensure I am happy with the result. Brielle is really a joy to work with and has beautiful taste. I would recommend her to anyone needing help with a project.

I worked with Meghan when building my home in Ft Worth, Texas. Meghan and her staff at Meghan Blum Interiors are so very professional and helpful. Meghan is an amazing designer. She has an exceptional eye for color and fabric. Since I am in Texas, I made several trips to Meghan's showroom and then communicated through e-mails and phone calls. Meghan was always very patient and easy to work with. She was spot on in her suggestions for furniture quality and fabric for the finish work of my home. I would recommend Meghan and her staff for any interior design needs.

We hired Meghan and her team to help us with our new home construction and it was one of the best decisions we made. Meghan was there every step of the way, from electrical walk throughs, to picking out flooring, countertops, lighting, cabinets and fixtures. Flooring America

I have worked with Meghan on several new home custom build projects. She is always organized and on time. She has a talent to visualize the whole project in her head, which helps tie everything together. We may be looking at a tile... but she is thinking about the tile, paint, counter tops, cabinets, furnishings, etc. She is able to work with many different budget levels and styles. I've seen her work on contemporary to traditional and they always turn out amazing. I would highly recommend Meghan to work on any design project!

Meghan Blum in my opinion is a remarkable interior designer. I first met Meghan Blum when she was working on a mutual friend's new home. I loved the design of that house and how it was decorated. My husband and I had purchased a house that had been under construction but not completed. I contacted Meghan and from our first meeting I knew I had found the perfect interior designer. We worked perfectly together. I had very specific thoughts and ideas and we also were wanting to use many pieces of furniture and art that we had collected previously. Meghan listened and gathered my thoughts about style, comfort, color, design and most importantly the need for it to be "our home". Meghan's communication skills and her eye for design made our project exciting, unique and fun! Every time we met Meghan was organized, timely, full of ideas and samples but always open to my thoughts and ideas. Meghan and I really worked as a perfect team. Meghan also made herself available to go to important structural and other supplier meetings with me. She was an excellent advisor and knew product lines and where to locate the quality of materials we wanted in our home. Meghan has an eye for colors, fabric patterns and textures, style and design and how to uniquely assemble living spaces in a home - a place where we live. Every piece of furniture was customized and every room was assembled piece by piece. We love our home and enjoy sharing it with family and friends. I give my highest recommendation to Meghan Blum as an interior designer and also to The Mansion where Meghan is employed.

Words Can't describe how much I enjoyed working with Meghan. She did a excellent job of listening to the vision we had for our new home and helped to make it come to life. She was extremely reliable and went above and beyond. She has an amazing eye for design and color and a incredible ability to pull different textures, fabrics, and furniture together to create beautiful living spaces. I will continue to use Meghan in the future and highly recommend her to anyone. In my opinion she is one of the best interior designers in the Des Moines area!!!

Meghan Blum basically acted as my surrogate during the construction of our 8,800 square foot home inasmuch as I was in another location and unable to attend to the details of building or design. With input from me consisting primarily of magazine pictures and internet ideas, she chose everything from paint colors to window coverings, all accessories, furniture and art work. Her exquisite taste and attention to detail resulted in a home that is beyond my imagination, filled with beauty and comfort. Meghan went above and beyond the scope of my dreams by traveling to our farm and creating a coffee table book of farm pictures which captured such fond memories for my husband and I, and included beautifully framed farm pictures elsewhere in the home. Throughout this 1 1/2 year project, Meghan worked closely with the builder and contractors and was professional, prompt and extremely pleasant in every encounter. I feel extremely fortunate and blessed to have worked with her and recommend her at the highest level for your project. Throughout
