I worked with Matt on a wonderful house for owners who were appreciative and happy with their product. Matt as a general contractor assembled and managed a team of professionals who turned out a really beautiful and well functioning home. From the outset this was a home that was technically difficult, had very high goals and standards and came to completion with very little dysfunction and, to my knowledge, no raised voices. All in all a fine experience.

Matt is the Best! I hired Matthew G. Strickfaden and Assocciates, Inc. to rescue my custom home building project that was going poorly with another builder. Matt was able to improve the design, reduce overall costs and complete my project on-time and under budget. Matt's craftsman were meticulous and professional and his attention to detail was second to none. His honesty and integrity really set him apart from any other custom home builder. I highly recommend him and have done so many times over the past four years.

We worked with Matt and his team for over a year on one particular project. Matt & his team are a pleasure to work with. Quick responses when questions arise and a mentality of doing it right the first time. Very quick turn around for payment whenever an invoice was sent to him.

Matthew Strickfaden is an incredible highly involved General Contractor. Matthew's skills are wide ranging - from managing the day to day construction, excellent budgeting & forecasting, to scheduling intricate and detailed custom installations. He is an excellent communicator and liaison with the Client, Architect, Designers, Landscape and the multitude of skilled craftsmen on his project and the supply side. Each team member is kept apprised of their partner's current and scheduled activity. In the end, the entire process of planning, building and accomplishing the Owner's goals are a joy! Matt is a passionate, truly involved professional dedicated to the process of creating Architecture! It is a pleasure to provide this professional & personal recommendation on Houzz.

I would like to say that Matt Strickfaden is as the top of his field. I have worked with many people over the last twenty-three years that I have been in business and Matt is right there with the very best. It is sometimes hard to get an answer or get a hold of some general contractors but not Matt. He is a great communicator and gets decisions resolved very quickly. It is also a very evident sign that a builder is good when he maintains a great relationship with the client all the way to the end. Matt has the customer's best interest in mind while keeping the contractor's focused and productive. Matt also collects great trades to build effectively and timely. A great contribution to the Southeast Michigan building trade.

Matt is very responsive to all emails and messages. He addresses all questions, requests and concerns in a timely and professional way. He administered the client funds and paid all contractors promptly once their work was complete. His good nature and sense of humor made the experience a positive one.
