A practice characterized by a creative melding of traditional forms with modern lifestyles. MAA has completed projects throughout the United States and Canada. We employ a straight-forward design palette, using both time-tested and innovative materials and techniques to create contextual, but often unexpected results. Our team believes in the steady collaboration between architect, designer, builder and client, and embraces the challenges of a project to create casually elegant homes that are both inviting and comfortable. We understand that the most successful design comes not from a predetermined style, but bares itself through the steps of the design process. Visit our Facebook, Pinterest & Instagram. Please forgive us if we do not answer your questions. Almost all of the work you see in the photographs is custom for each project. Permanent items in the homes are typically handmade by different trades people and can not be purchased in stores.

Michael designed a new home for us on a lake in Madison, WI. His ability to capture our desires and also insert his creativity was flawless. We were most impressed with how he captured the best views from all rooms of the home. He blended a contemporary, industrial look with a timeless style. Our home is functional and a thing of beauty. We love our new home and would highly recommend Michael Abraham.

Michael's work had always caught our eye as he had designed what we considered to be the most beautiful homes in our area. We hired him to design our new home and he did not disappoint. Starting with his proposal and throughout the build process his work was thoughtful, detailed, and on point. My wife and I really could not recommend him enough.

We absolutely love our home and believe that Michael Abraham is the reason! Mike is so professional and creative. One of the many things that sets him apart is his incorporation of natural light into every home. We are always getting asked who our architect was and we are proud to give Micheal Abraham a referral & share our positive experience. When building a home the architect is critical- you want a meticulous , creative, thoughtful architect -this is what you get from Michael Abraham .

For a thoughtful approach to residential design, Culligan Abraham are an excellent choice. They remain creative and forward thinking but respectful to the neighborhood and surroundings.

We bought an old 1927 Tudor home, designed by a famous architect R. Harold Zook. We had Mike Abraham come over several times to look at the project. He had a great vision of where he wanted to see this house go. We did an addition that looks like it was built in 1927. The house flows so nice now. He was over at the construction site all the time making sure the desing plans were being met. If there was something the carpenters did wrong he would call the builder and work it out. He designed and constructed this house for generations to grow up and grow old in. We absolutely love Culligan and Abraham. Any builder can build a house but you need the best architect to design the plans.

I have been working with Michael Abraham Architecture for more than 15 years. The team at MAA is extremely talented and creative. Abraham is able to create dream homes for their clients. Having built several homes, MAA's designs are above and beyond the most complex homes I have built. Not only are they able to design new homes, they are able to walk into an existing home and transform that home into something truly spectacular! I enjoy working with Michael Abraham and would highly recommend them to anyone!

After 26 years of living in beautiful old houses we wanted to build our perfect house for how we live. The first person we met with was Mike Abraham and after that meeting we were done looking for an architect. We described all of the things that were important to us and the general style we were looking for. The very first drawings Mike presented were spot on. We worked with Mike and Joel Rafferty to make a few very small adjustments and were done! Now with the house completed all of the interesting details that set Culligan and Abraham houses apart from the rest are what makes the house. Without exception friends have been mesmerized by the attention to detail and interesting features that make our home feel so special. We are so appreciative for their outstanding performance.

Terrific Architects - Very creative and unique designers. Client friendly and warm. We worked wtih Mika Abraham twice on two home developments for our family and would highly recommend Mike and his team.
