Monumental Outdoor installed an extension to our patio with a small seat wall and installed a circular patio beneath our deck. We are extremely pleased with the entire project. David and Tabitha were very responsive, on time, and easy to work with. The installation crew was excellent. The attention to detail was outstanding and the final result exceeded our expectations.

Monumental Lawn retracted our bid after we agreed upon work to be done and price. When questions were raised about their contract they quickly withdrew their proposal and left us without a contractor. Also, Monumental Lawn's contract expects homeowners to carry insurance on them while working on your project. The owner would not state an estimated completion date and required a substantial down payment without any work performed. Poor business practice.

Tom, we are sorry that you feel this way after our conversations, and working together to develop a very unique design. To clarify, we do not require any client to carry insurance on our company. We carry full liability and workers comp. on our company and team at all times, and supply a certificate upon request. We do require a down payment upon agreement, to cover pre-order materials and any pre-built products to be completed prior to commencement of work. This varies from 30% to 50% depending on job size and scope. We are able to discuss an expected time frame, but we are not able to write a firm date in a contract that could hold us in breach, due to elements out of our own control, such as weather, supplies, etc. We did enjoy working with you to create your very unique outdoor plans, and do hope that you are able to find a contractor who can bring it to life, or even better.

Project was an expansion of existing paver patio & addition of gas fire pit with a custom concrete stained top. Excellent quality of workmanship in hardscaping finished product! Monumental is reliable, trustworthy, and they prioritize customer satisfaction. Crews are polite, conscious of homeowner's concerns and communicate well with homeowner.

Am watching this company come into its own by serving our clients at a very high level. Not only do they do landscaping, mowing and gardening services for me personally, they also serve many of our clients as we have a high volume real estate company and sell many homes. I have worked a few times with David and the crew at Monumental and am excited for the next project with them. Monumental strives for quality and customer satisfaction, and this is not something I have found working with other contractors. David is easy to work with and has a good knowledge base.

The owner, David, is a very thoughtful and professional guy. He and his crew care about what they do and are interested in quality and good customer service. They give back to the community through project like St. Jude Dream Home and the City of Raymore. I always enjoy with working him. Definitely give them try!
