My condo was damaged by water and Nicolas was hired by my condo association. He under bid the contract and won the bid by leaving out some of the work that needed to be done so I had to fight with the association to have the remainder of the work completed which added an extra three weeks. He started the job informing me that if I complained about anything and delayed the work he would charge me for the delay to try to control and preempt any future situations which must be frequent for him to say that. He also said he was not working for me and I had no say in anything because the association was paying him and he would not discuss the job with me even though it was my home he was working in. Ironically after he said that to me he left and met another client and accidentally pocket dialed me and I heard him give that same intimidation speech to another woman. He is a bully, unfortunately I was stuck with him and had to tolerate his arrogance. He hacked the drywall pieces that were to replace the lower 2/3 of each water damaged wall and he didn’t line up the edges nicely or trim the top third of the wall to make a nice seam. Instead of using one pice he hacked two uneven jagged edged pieces and attached them to the wall. I complained to the association but it was too late to do anything about it at that point. Me and my wife were initially skeptical about hiring a contractor online, but thanks to Nicolas, it was the best decision of our project to remove popcorn and make our ceilings smooth and magnificent. The workers were professional, polite and always made sure to leave the property clean. We were surprised to see their modern equipment leaving practically no dust during popcorn removal and sanding, saving us the inconvenience of cleaning every corner of our home. Nicolas the owner looked at the job gave me an estimate that I considered reasonable and he delivered on time and on budget every item. He went out of his way to ensure that I was pleased with his work. He has a fine work crew with great work ethics. I highly recommend him for any job inside and outside the house. If he says he can do it; consider it done.

Nicholas and his guys came to my home and did quite a bit of work at my home. They did great drywall work and other items. Having had several bad experiences with previous contractors, which seems to be typical in Miami, this one was a very pleasant one. All work was done as agreed and in a timely manner. There was always great communication with Nicolas and never any unpleasant surprises. I can only give Nicolas and his team the best recommendation and would for sure use him again.

Master Bathroom Remodel: The workers are not professionals. The owner when he came out to give us a quote only had his phone on him. The tiler doesn't use a tile cutter but a hand saw. This does not give an accurate and smooth cut as a tile cutter. In addition, the tiler, on the 1st day, didn't have enough 1/16th spacers for in between the wall tiles so he started using the cardboard off the tile boxes. The wall tiles had 1/16, 1/8 and 1/4 spaces between tiles. After 7 days the wall tiling was still incomplete and the other work wasn't done. The owner kept blaming my 80 year old mom for their mistakes until she was in tears. We now have to hire a contractor to come in and demo everything back to the studs in order to do the job correctly. The first two quotes we received were high. So I decided to take down the majority of the tiles to save money. All I needed was a screw driver and the tiles popped right off the walls. Sometimes 3 to 5 pieces of tile came off at one time. We finally hired a licensed contractor. We are so happy with the quality of work they do. After only 8 days, the Master Bathroom Remodel is 98% complete and we are highly pleased with the outcome. Please do yourself a favor and get a copy of the contractor's license to verify it is active and a copy of their Certificate of General Liability. This will save you a lot of headaches and stress in the long run.
