NV Kitchen and Bath

I signed a contract in January 2023 to have my kitchen and primary bathroom remolded. The work started the first week of May 2023 and the completion date in the contract was set for 50 business days. It is February 2024 and my project is still not completed. Not only is this company over 100-business days late in completing the project. I was hardly ever provided an updated schedule even when asked numerous times. There has been an outrageous number of issues with wrong materials ordered, incompetent workmanship, wrong sized cabinets, continuous installation errors, over 6 failed county inspections, and numerous no shows. They switched project managers at least 5 times thus leaving no one managing the project except myself. They used unlicensed, inexperienced workers for plumbing and electrical and they used non-certified high end appliance installers. The ran out of flooring materials and left the remaining floors unfinished for weeks. They even got wood stain on the new hardwood floors and never attempted to clean it up. They even attempted to use counterfeit counter top materials in place of the name brand materials listed in the contract. The list goes on and on and on, all while living in the house during the entire renovation. And you would think it couldn’t get worse… they cracked and scratched the custom kitchen cabinet panels and used the wrong color touch up paint to try to hide it. They installed a gas line improperly and electrical incorrectly causing appliance and electrical issues, installed incorrect range hood venting which had to be ripped out, damaged my high end refrigerator, delivered incorrectly measured countertops and on top of that installed them sloppy. They even demoed the stair rails and it took them months before they finally installed new stair rails that ended up not passing inspection multiple times causing them to be ripped out and replaced 4 times before finally passing inspection. This company was warned multiple times for the delays and sloppy work and they still have not resolved the issues nor completed the job to this day. I warn anyone who may be looking to use this company to STAY AWAY!! This company is the most unethical, unexperienced, incapable home improvement company I’ve ever encountered in my life.

We first used NV Kitchen & Bath for our Island remodeling and they did such an awesome job we decided to do the entire kitchen. Thank you Homer for the great design guidance! It was the best decision we made. NV Kitchen & Bath delivered the project on time and within our budget. They made the project and process easy and at times enjoyable. Thank you Harb, you are the best project manager! We will use them for our master bathroom remodeling as well!

We have a step-down family room and wanted to replace our railing with cabinets, which required extending the kitchen floor into the family room. We also wanted to remove our old pantry and replace it with cabinets and counter tops. NV Kitchen was the only company who noticed structural issues with our plans and proposed a remedy. They completed the entire job in less than 4 weeks. The employees were very courteous and professional.

This is a local team but they deliver world-class service. They met and exceed our expectations. Great job! We will certainly use them again!

NV Kitchen & Bath helped my family renovate our bathroom, and they were amazing to work with! They were patient with us while we picked out the bathroom fixtures we wanted, and they made our bathroom look modern and beautiful. The crew was always very respectful, and they finished the work just before the holidays, which made it even more special. The owner, Adam, and the project manager, visited us to make sure everything was perfect, and they fixed anything that needed to be adjusted. They also did all of this within our budget, which was really important for my family. I highly recommend NV Kitchen & Bath if you want to make your bathroom look amazing!

We worked with NV Kitchen and Bath on a remodel of our 15-year old kitchen. Our goal was to have a fresh, updated design that integrated seamlessly into the rest of our home, so we didn't have the cascading effect of having to redo every room in the house. Mission accomplished! Their designer Edgar was professional, positive, helpful and listened to what we wanted to accomplish. After discussing a few minor tweaks to the first renderings, we were all set. Working with Edgar, we chose our cabinets, trims, pulls, and countertops using NV Kitchen and Bath selections, then worked with NV's connections to select backsplash, faucets & sinks, lighting, and a complete appliance package. As a full service contractor, they managed the process from beginning to end. We really appreciated the single point of contact on this project even with purchases made through outside vendors. The delivery team members were courteous and helpful when placing all the cabinets and materials in our home prior to installation. They also came as needed each week during the project to remove old materials and trash from the day's work to help ensure a neat work site each day. Our project manager Wilmar Ferrel made a great impression from our very first meeting. He is consultative, knowledgeable, unflappable, and thoughtful in his response to every question. This began with the initial lighting consultation, design and selection of upgraded LED recessed lights to integrate with existing wiring. Wilmar updated us each day with the work plan, kept us abreast of ongoing progress, and was on site to ensure work met the design plan. He worked with our lead contractor Oscar and team in a collaborative way to direct and problem solve through the project's unforeseen issues. Oscar and his team were respectful, worked methodically and left the work site clean each day. Their work was neat and precise. We are thrilled with the final outcome as the heart of our home is more open and welcoming than ever. Thank you to all at NV Kitchen and Bath. Onward to bathroom renovations!

NV Kitchen & Bath renovated our bathroom. They were fantastic to work with from the very beginning till end. They helped with designing and modernizing our kids' bathroom. They were very patient with us while we were selecting the tiles and cabinets. We are very pleased with the end result. They worked with our schedule to finish the work just before the holidays. The whole crew was very nice and respectful through the whole process. Diaz is a very handy contractor who can literally make whatever you ask happen. At the end of the project, project manager Ryan and the owner, Adam visited us to check on the status of the work and made sure that it met all our expectations. They personally identified the issues that needs tweaking and completed them as promised. The job was done well within the budget . I strongly recommend NV Kitchen & Bath to everyone who wants quality work.

We used NV Kitchen & Bath to remodel 2 bathrooms. They did an exceptional job from start to finish. Anna was our designer and was great to work with and the project manager was very responsive. I can’t say enough about the crew. They were wonderful to work with, extremely accommodating, and cleaned up at the end of each day. We look forward to working with them in the future.

I would avoid working with NV Kitchen and Bath. They are disorganized, unresponsive, and unprofessional. They attempt to change the price of a project after a contract is signed and leave the working space with dust and debris everywhere. The Jessup branch manager, Adam Apkinar takes no responsibility for the actions of his employees nor does he check the quality of the services his branch provides. The project manager, Ryan Savage, is completely out of touch with the going’s on of his projects and is uncommunicative. He is unprofessional and lacks basic project managerial skills like checking materials before starting, or providing any meaningful timeframe regarding a project’s completion. Again, avoid working with NV Kitchen & Bath.

We hired NV Kitchen and Bath to remodel our kitchen, master bathroom, and guest bathroom. They were a pleasure to work with start to finish. There were three things that stood out. First, the in-person consultations prior to commencing the work were very in-depth, hands on, and most importantly, we felt that they were really focused on giving us an end product that fit within our budget (as opposed to trying to push us to spend more than desired). Second, they were honest and upfront when there were opportunities for savings on materials. Third, when the work actually commenced, we felt that the project manager went above and beyond with keeping us informed and also resolving any issues that arouse in a timely manner. We highly recommend NV Kitchen and Bath for any home remodeling work!

We were considering just refacing our kitchen cabinets to save money as we updated our kitchen. NV Kitchen provided a quote for a custom kitchen remodel that was competitive with the refacing quotes we had from other contractors. The designer and took our preferences and dislikes into account, the installers were professional and detail oriented. We’re very happy with our kitchen.

The designer and installers were good. However the project had a lot of problems. They did not order the right parts or sufficient quantity. They were not able to figure out the right parts to order for new shower hardware and we had to figure it out ourselves directly with Kohler. Poor communication and coordination. Took 4 attempts to install a small countertop. You can't return unused tile even if they over-ordered. Installers showed up without any prior notice and no information on the design specs. I think these are all generally management issues. They struggled with 2 small projects and I would not recommend using them for a large complex job.
