We found both Scott and Bryn to be professional, polite, knowledgeable, and straightforward. We had lots of questions and several estimates, and our choices were narrowed down to Scott Hall and one other company that we liked. It was a difficult to decide, but we went with the other company only because they were less expensive. Time will tell whether or not we made the best decision.

Scott Hall Builders remodeled our master bathroom which included wall removal, new tile flooring, direct wire towel warmer, double sinks and a beautiful full-tile expanded shower. The project was completed on time and communication was excellent from the beginning to the end. Using the BuilderTrend app was very helpful. Lead carpenter, Bryn, conducted weekly meetings that kept the project on track and allowed for open two-way conversations regarding progress and expectations.

I hired Scott Hall Remodeling to remove a bathtub and install a custom walk-in shower in its place. I had thought about hiring one of those companies that promise to do everything in one day - but in retrospect I am sure the project would not have turned out nearly as well, and could never have been done properly in one day. Because the bathroom is quite small and the house is old and funky, quite a few construction challenges arose. Scott and his team very carefully considered various options to solve the problems they encountered, and always kept me in the discussion. The final cost was within the budget, except for the extra cost for the plumber to replace a corroded drain pipe that was found to be leaking under the house, and enhancements that I chose to add during the project. Scott Hall's prices are higher than some other companies, and the project took a couple of months to complete, but I believe it was well worth the extra money and time to have everything done exactly right. This is a small company, and they earned my trust on all levels. We have used the shower for over a year, and it still looks wonderful and functions perfectly. I highly recommend Scott Hall Remodeling, especially for potentially difficult projects.

When we purchased our home many years ago, we knew we would want to eventually remodel our master bathroom as it was dated and the finishes were not of high quality. Recently, we decided that we were ready for the remodel and set out to find a good remodeling contractor to work with. Angie’s List provided us many choices and we interviewed several contractors. Scott Hall Remodeling stood out with great reviews all around and when we met Scott, he was very knowledgeable and had good ideas and suggestions. We liked and trusted Scott immediately, so we didn’t hesitate to select him for the job, as we felt his firm would provide high quality and a smooth experience. Over the next few weeks, we met with his designer, selected our cabinets and finishes, and scheduled the work with Scott’s team. All of the people we worked with were very helpful and knowledgeable. When the work commenced, we were introduced to Bryn who was our project manager and lead craftsman. Bryn was a pleasure to work with throughout the project. Bryn kept us apprised of progress and was faithfully on the job as scheduled. A few problems did arise during the remodel (as is true of any renovation project), but Scott’s team, under Bryn’s detailed eye, communicated the issues to us and worked to rectify them as quickly as possible while maintaining budget, quality and schedule. We decided to make some minor changes during the process, and Bryn was always helpful to ensure that our ideas could be implemented with high quality in a cost efficient manner. The project completed on time and budget and we have been enjoying it daily ever since. We simply love our new bathroom and we especially liked working with Scott Hall’s team. We were impressed with how the work area was kept very clean each day and it was nice to not worry about people coming in and out of our home for weeks – we felt that Bryn was on top of everything, trustworthy, and had the project and various contractors under control. Scott Hall Remodeling is a company that is very clearly focused not only on quality work, but on providing a premium customer experience. Scott Hall has done two bathrooms and my kitchen. All work was expertly done and looks beautiful. Any issues were promptly addressed by Scott himself.

Scott Hall and Co. we're very courteous and punctual during the entire process. There was a clear understanding of the scope of the project and cost overruns were minimal. Their subcontractors were knowledgeable about their trades. All in all this is a team I would highly recommend.

Complete renovation of shower area (removal of tile and bench within the shower), with plumbing moved to a different wall, and with new wall surface, new fixtures and glass enclosure installed. Also removed two old countertops and sinks, replacing with granite and under-mount sinks with new fixtures; also new toilet and ceiling fan. Quality of work, attention to detail and related communications were exceptional. At end of every day the work area and areas of traffic were cleaned as if no one had been there. Exhibited great professionalism along with care and concern about getting things right. Of all the work I have contracted out as a homeowner in over 38 years, this was the best experience I have ever had.

We did not have room the to change our bathroom layout, but we used Scott Hall Remodeling to upgrade our master bath and they did an excellent job. They installed a new shower, tile floor, cabinets and countertop. (They work with a top-notch cabinet maker.) We appreciated their attention to detail and timeliness in completing the job. The whole process went pretty smoothly. We do not hesitate to recommend Scott and his company to others, and in fact a referral we made has recently turned into another project for them.

We engaged Scott Hall Remodeling to remodel our master bath. Major components of the project were moving a wall, replacing a bath tub, enlarging the shower, replacing the vanities and building a table. We spent a long time in our vendor selection process, and interviewed seven vendors. All but one were highly-rated on Angie’s List; the one was recommended by a friend. Our selection criteria were: documented competence, ease of working with the vendor, design advice and counseling, and reasonable pricing. The component many vendors lacked was design assistance, which was help we wanted. Project planning was smooth and realistic. Material selection involved visiting four vendor/suppliers, so it takes time. Also, the process was marred by assumptions made by the company which we didn’t know better to ask about. The result was a critical stop mid-project to establish the colors we wanted instead of what was assumed. This was the only flaw in the process, and the company reacted wonderfully. We got what we wanted without an issue. The process has since been adjusted to prevent recurrence. The team doing the work consisted of one, and often two craftsmen who worked quietly and efficiently, with a workman demeanor. They were consistently on-time and respectful. They were very tidy. The project took exactly the projected time. We had weekly meetings to review the week’s progress and the upcoming week’s goals. In sum. We love our bathroom. Scott Hall Remodeling did a fantastic job, and we definitely recommend the company. They do very nice work.

We used Scott Hall Remodeling to complete a kitchen remodel that involved changing out all of the granite for Cambria and replacing all of the major appliances. This was our second project with the company and overall we were very pleased with the outcome. Scott is very thorough in his planning process, which prevents mid-remodel surprises. The two men who actually did the work, Mike Salvatori and his assistant Sean, were wonderful to work with and solved the inevitable problems that came up quickly. The project came in as budgeted. The new kitchen has greatly enhanced our home.

Working with Scott Hall was great. He and his staff were clear in their descriptions of what needed to be done, maintained a tidy work area, were respectful of our time and needs, and put communication with us at the top of their list of goals. Scott Hall Remodeling tore out my old shower and replaced it with a new one. Water had gotten behind my tiles in my old shower so they had to not only take out the tiles but the drywall too. They put up new drywall and installed a new shower. I really like the new shower and the new frameless sliding door. Not only do we like the shower, but the service was outstanding. They were always quick to respond and always showed up on time. I am also impressed with how the worker cleaned up after himself each time he left. This company is very professional and they do what they say they are going to do and they do it well.
