Solid Rock Builders

Solid Rock is currently building our house and we just can’t say enough good things about this company. Easy to work with, effective communicators who are highly motivated to build the house we wanted while being conscientious of our budget. So happy with these guys and can’t recommend them enough!

We recently purchased a home that we wanted to make major renovations by adding a master bedroom and master bathroom along with other exterior modifications. We were fortunate to find Solid Rock Builders who was recommended to us by our architect. Solid Rock Builders were excellent to work with and did a great job every step of the way. Travis was patient with our many changes. This project was our second home and we worked with Travis remotely during the whole project. He always kept us up to date and very helpful in helping us make decisions on the details of how we wanted things done. The process exceeded our expectations, our house looks fantastic and we would definitely recommend Solid Rock Builders to anyone looking to build a home or for remodel projects big or small. We have continued to engage them in other projects on our property and well as recommending them to other families building or renovating homes.

We have had an excellent experience with Solid Rock--Travis, his crew, and the subcontractors he works with. Foremost, Travis is very kind, responsive, and professional in his communication, making it very easy to "iron out the kinks" when coordinating schedules or making changes. It was always clear to us that he held our comfort and satisfaction in the process at the top of his mind. (He's really, truly, remarkably nice!) The work is high quality, and when the crew came out to work, they were friendly, diligent, and careful. We enjoyed crossing paths and getting to know the guys over the course of a few different projects the family kept hiring them back for (originally a master bed/bath addition at the family cabin [Little Pine job], and then a windows/siding/trim/insulation and interior remodel job in the old farmhouse where we live... even some structural reinforcements on the old barn). We highly recommend hiring Solid Rock. I have worked on several building crews myself and can say that Travis and co. are one of a kind. Dependable, attentive, and dedicated to excellence in their craft.

We considered several builders. Solid Rock's price was close to the least, and its references checked out the best. Our remodeling was extensive and complex, and done while we lived in the house. We found Solid Rock to always be polite and considerate, and to do work of the highest quality. They let us consult with them and make "tweaks" as needed. We recommend without hesitation or reservation. The work did pass the projected a bit, but because of factors beyond anyone's control, mainly weather and an a few instances material or subcontractor delays. The project actually came in under budget!

Great builder who is easy to work with, He did a good job of sticking to our budget and offering input to changes that would make things more useful and makes financial sense..
