We're a family run interior architecture and design studio based in Hertfordshire, specialising in beautifully balanced homes for everyday living. Proud of our award winning, approachable customer service and passionate about the life changing, beautifully crafted interiors we are privileged to design for our clients. However effortless it may seem, great design doesn’t just happen. There’s a lot of time and decision making behind the scenes to make everything work seamlessly. Daily design and technical decisions need to be made, often within a limited timeframe which can be stressful and costly to the inexperienced. Creating a home you’re proud of should be an enjoyable journey and this is where we come in. We work alongside you, listening to your ideas and talking through your design problems bringing with us a fresh perspective and design expertise. I used the full services of Studio 28 for a complete renovation of my home. I would highly recommend the team to anyone considering using interior designers. Stacey assisted and advised me on every stage of my project, listening to and understanding my tastes and needs in both an aesthetic and practical way. I was able to see visual concepts of the finished look of each room before any works were carried out which was extremely useful. Stacey and her team advised me on finishes and designs that would best suit my room and needs in a style that I was looking for. Nothing was too much trouble for her and the team and I was so confident in her design and colour choices that I soon learnt to trust her judgement and the results bear testament to the skills and experiences the team have. The attention to detail is outstanding and any trades recommended were of an equally high standard. They are clearly passionate about what they do. Knowing I had Studio 28 guiding me through every stage of the project meant the worries one would normally have with such a complex project disappeared. The project management skills they possess and their communication is exemplary. The end results exceeded my expectations. I am so pleased that I used Studio 28 and would certainly use them again for any future projects.

We are a bespoke joinery company that works very closely with Studio 28. All we can say is that they are a joy to work with. From the professional drawings they create to the ongoing communication with both client and supplier they are the best. If you are thinking of using Studio 28 do not hesitate.

Stacey and Lauren are a joy to work with. They helped me with a major house refurb in the early summer, I was living abroad and could not come to view the house or the design choices being made because of covid travel restrictions. We worked together remotely (both online and by phone) and they are both extremely dedicated, hard-working, professional, and always solution-driven. We actually had lots of fun and the end result is one to be proud of. I would recommend Studio 28 without hesitation and I look forward to working with them again in the future.

Having had an architect produce a very detailed architectural pack for the development of our 5 bedroom new-build dwelling, we felt we still needed a little bit of extra inspiration and interior knowledge to help finish off our house project. Studio 28 understood the brief perfectly, and produced exactly the right amount of detail and input we required. They were very competitively priced, and we felt the team at Studio 28 were worth every penny in value. A great addition to our team of professionals, to help make our house an amazing home.

Lauren worked with us for over 6 months to help us with the interior design and decoration of our new house. She totally understood our requirements right from the first meeting and was very helpful and truthful in her feedbacks throughout. She ensured regular communication, adopted a very flexible and friendly approach, and worked brilliantly to pull it all together including sourcing of some lovely products that added a class to the overall decor. Stacey helped us with some very beautiful joinery design and installation and we are overwhelmed with the compliments we get from everyone who visit us. Stacey and Lauren work brilliantly as a team and we would recommend them to anyone who is looking to achieve a house of their dreams!

We have been working with Stacey on a complete redesign of our downstairs living space layout and furnishings. We were at a loss as to what to do with the layout as an awkward space but had a very clear view of the finish we liked. We found Stacey via Houzz and can honestly say, she (along with her team) were a dream to work with. She understood very clearly our vision where we didn't want to compromise luxury but yet needed to be practical and livable with 2 children under 4! She has accurately hit the brief and gone beyond expectations for what we were after. The ease of progressing from stage to stage was stress-free (very much needed) and she takes all the time and worry aspects away from you, whilst allowing you to be involved as you would like to be. Exactly what we were after. I couldn't recommend the S28 team enough and I can't wait to work with them again on future projects.

Working with Stacey and the Studio 28 team was a great experience from start to finish. We had never worked with an interior designer before and Studio 28 really put us at ease. They took the time to understand exactly what we wanted and transformed a much dreaded decision-making process into a complete joy. Stacey gave us the confidence we needed to be certain in our decisions. The result is a beautiful, homely interior which we love spending time in as a family to relax but also to entertain our friends.
