As a designer myself for 26 years, I recognize talent. Rachel is the best space planner I have ever met in this business. She is also knowledgeable and excels in all other aspects of design including fabrics, furniture, color, accessories, and construction. Anyone who hires her company is lucky!

Rachel from Vintage Interior Design is a pleasure to work with. She is friendly and professional. She draws a design of your room for a small fee and and then charges a percentage of whatever you order., of which you are getting a designers discount. She does not take a hefty fee before starting the job.. Rachel designed a living room and dining room for my husband and I. She took a lot of time with me finding fabrics that I loved, and furniture that I liked. Once she learned my tastes she brought beautiful fabrics, showed me her ideas, and came up with a beautiful design concepts. The rooms were completed from soup to nuts and came out elegant and beautiful. They are exactly what I wanted. The living room was also photographed and published in part 2 of Newsday Home Section. Rachel also completed my den. That room already had furniture in it. She had to match an area rug, pillows, and window treatments, this was no easy feat. This room came out cozy and warm. It is my favorite room in the house. It is very inviting. Rachel found fabrics and patterns to compliment what was already in the room. Rachel has a lot of patience. She tries very hard to please. Her work is very good. I plan on using her again on my next decorating endeavor.

I almost never leave reviews, so I'm going to keep this short. I am very particular, yet I have a hard time getting my ideas and style from thoughts into coherent words that others can understand. As I tried to describe how I wanted the building to look, people just looked at me strangely. But as I described these idea's to Rachel from Vintage Interior, she was able to take my vague statements and make them into a reality. I couldn't be happier with how our project came out. Her resourcefulness, budget consciousness, artistic eye and flexibility made it a pleasure to work with her. I would highly recommend Rachel to anyone looking for help with any step of interior decorating.
