London Design Duo Creating Unique Interiors to Reflect Your Lifestyle

Led by interior designer, Georgina Magowan, Studio 73 Design creates beautiful and unique interiors that reflect each clients’ personality and lifestyle. With their studio in St Margarets, London, the team work on projects throughout the UK and abroad. Placing the relationship with the client at the forefront of everything they do, the team spend time getting to know the client in order to create a home that is not only stylish but in harmony with the way the client lives. From whole house renovations to single room schemes, Studio 73 covers all aspects of the design process, from the initial concept and planning through to full installation. Providing a range of services including; space planning, detailed furniture layouts, kitchen and bathroom design, remote consultation, and full fixtures and furnishing schemes. Working with a team of trusted suppliers and craftsman, the studio directs and manages every element of the design from bespoke joinery to window dressings, objects and art. Georgina has extensive experience in developing and implementing interior design concepts and studied at London’s prestigious KLC School of Design. She then trained for many years with Hugh Leslie Design and Rui Ribeiro Interiors. She has worked on an extensive range of projects, including a 13 bedroom estate in Berkshire, a townhouse in New York, a ski chalet in Switzerland, a country cottage in Oxfordshire, a farmhouse in the South of France, a penthouse in Washington DC and numerous apartments and houses in and around London.

Lisa & Georgina have that magic combination in interior designers of really listening to the client's needs and then presenting designs that actually fit those needs and are beautiful too. Nothing is too much trouble and they are so lovely to work with. Lucky are the clients who get to work with Studio73.

Lisa and Georgina redesigned our master bedroom for us. We live in Istanbul, Turkey, so used their virtual service. I was so impressed by their professionalism and speedy work. They promptly put together a suggested space plan and design ideas and were really good at listening and asking questions and adjusting their suggestions accordingly. They were very flexible- noting that we are in a rented property and that we therefore can't do anything too drastic. They also did an amazing job of sourcing things from local Turkish suppliers for me, which is no easy task! It was a real pleasure to work with these two lovely ladies and I had a lot of fun in the process! I would use them again in a heartbeat.

They guided us through a range of designs and styles, listening to and taking into account our feedback. We’ve gradually changed the room as time and budget has allowed and it now looks superb and we are thrilled with the end result.

Aqua Bathroom

I have worked closely with Studio 73 Design for a few years now and they are a pleasure to work with! Very friendly and professional people who care about their customers and easy to talk with. The designs for their bathrooms are second to none and if you want a professional service with a personal touch then I would definitely not hesitate recommending them!

I needed some help with a number of rooms in my house, specifically the sitting room, master bedroom, two guest bedrooms and a new kitchen extension. Georgina was a pleasure to work with and actually made the whole project fun and enjoyable. She listened carefully to my requirements and my budget and then proposed layouts, furniture and finishes accordingly. Having renovated a number of houses myself in the past, I have previously found the process to be stressful and very time consuming, often ending up costing more than I had budgeted. However Georgina's attention to detail, hard work and friendly manner made working on the house easy and fun and well within my budget. I would not hesitate to use her again and have already recommended her to others.

Lizzie Cranfield

I hired Georgina to take on the interior design for my flat in Battersea in 2018, which needed complete renovation. I had never undertaken such a project before - I had only a vague idea of what I wanted and fairly poor visualisation (I am not particularly artistic) so her brief wasn't detailed, although I knew what I didn't want. I was living away from London, in a busy job, so I was keen to leave it to someone to sort out for me. On our first meeting, any apprehension I might have had about leaving the whole thing in someone else's hands completely disappeared. She is the ultimate professional; she listens to your ideas and themes, and then tailors her design to what she thinks you might like. She intuitively understood what I wanted, without me managing to explain it particularly well - she did the visualisation for me. At every step of the way, she gave me a range of options, and advice on what would go with what. She also liaised constantly with the builders to make sure that her designs were being done properly. This too was completely invaluable, as I wasn't there much. The flat was completed in May 2018, and I couldn't be happier. It really feels like my home now, except that I know I could never have made look as nice as this without her. She did an absolutely brilliant job, and if I ever need an interior designer again, I know where to go. I couldn't recommend her highly enough.

I have know Lisa for many years and she has done numerous projects for me. Her detail to her work is impeccable, the quality is fantastic and I have been extremely happy with everything that she has done for me --- upholstery, blinds, curtains, joinery, carpets etc. I would highly recommend Lisa as well as Studio 73 Design for any job that you have .... whether it is a small one or a complete refurb. They make all jobs fun and interesting.

I hired Studio 73 Design to renovate my newly purchased house in Richmond. Right from the start I knew Georgina was going to make the project an easy and enjoyable experience. She was very easy to get on with, took on-board my vision and came up with some amazing ideas. I couldn't have asked for a better result. All the rooms have exceeded my expectations. Studio 73 Design are highly professional and have built up great relationships with suppliers/industry contacts, which meant they were able to source some unique pieces of furniture for me and make my home unique to me.
