I recommend Sheard Development highly based upon my experience. We used them to update our kitchen, which had scarred countertops and an avocado sink if that provides any clue to when it was last updated. To make matters more difficult, the “committee” wasn’t just the usual husband and wife, but it was a landlady/husband/wife committee, which agreed on at least one thing: doing it right included the right materials, the right colors, and proper installation, all at the best achievable price. The Sheard team patiently provided actual samples (they tend to work better than just a chart when it comes to visualizing colors), advice on the price/quality questions for countertop materials, and above all, infinite patience. In the end, we got a beautiful kitchen, perfectly installed and completed on schedule, all at a fair price.

We initially hired Sheard Development for a barn remodel and that led to two additional projects including a garden shed with a concrete patio and a 500 sq. ft. addition with a covered porch. This covered the complete scope of work including concepts, design, building plans, permitting, and construction. In every case, the projects were completed on time and on budget. The Sheard’s are easy to work with and communicated with us in a clear, relaxed, and effective manner. Luke has a wealth of knowledge and experience and used that to help us form a broader vision for our property. His attention to detail and strict project management were impeccable. We are thrilled with the outcome of every project and we look forward to more projects with the Sheard’s.

First of all, Sheard Development completely saved us! We had started several months before they came on board with another contractor who let us down right after the foundation had been started.... Then we waited & waited for them to go onto the next stage which never happened. Basically the whole house was still unfinished and it sat for about 4 months before Sheard Development took over our project. They worked through many errors on the plans they inherited and the foundation that had already been started. I can’t say enough positive about this company, they made EVERYTHING right. They have integrity, the best work ethic, they put the customer first and love their imput. They completed our home in the most timely manner. I would recommend this company whole heartedly without hesitation!
