tl;dr: HIRE PALLAVI. SHE IS THE BEST Pallavi is a joy to work with. I reached out to her, saying I wanted a space that reminded me of home. Pallavi took the time to understand my culture and the architectural elements in my culture and helped me see designs that I wasn't quite aware of. She helped design our home friendly to seniors (high backrest, not too heavy chairs to pull), pets (type of fabrics), and kids (rounded edges, sturdy). Examples: 1. I gave her the arduous task of wanting a swing in our living room. She not only found a swing that is aesthetically appealing but also extremely functional. We turn the swing facing the window and look outside to the backyard with our cup of chai. It's one of my favorite ways to enjoy this space. 2. For dining, she looked at multiple, I mean multiple sources, to get a bench that we liked. It took us all the time to find the right bench, but she worked with multiple vendors to finally land on one. She never pushed us to settle on something we didn't like. 3. She introduced colors, patterns, and wood choices I would not have normally gone for. She's very patient in getting my opinions and hearing me out, and reworking the design iteratively. Pallavi is an extremely patient and meticulous planner and helps adds charm to one's home. Every person she brought with her (contractor, handyman, electrician) is A+ and did a wonderful job. Anyone who has visited our home is in awe of the design and the thoughtfulness in each element of it. We are really happy with our space because of Pallavi, and we still plan to leverage her for additional rooms this year!

We worked with Pallavi on our dining room and living room and absolutely love how these rooms turned out! These are tricky spaces to decorate; there are lots of orangey wood tones throughout (window frames, beams, and flooring) and large areas of rustic stonework (large fireplace), all of which are expensive to change and unfortunately give the house a dated, mountain lodge vibe that does not match our style. I’m amazed at how Pallavi was able to work with a difficult canvas and turn it into a serene, comfortable space that matches our aesthetic and fits our needs (cat friendly). Pallavi is professional, creative, and detail oriented. If we have any more interior design needs, she’ll be our go-to!

Pallavi redesigned almost our entire house recently. I can't say enough about how happy I am with how every single room she designed turned out. Pallavi listened to everything that I and my husband had to say very patiently and incorporated both of our design choices into the final layouts. She is also one of the very few designers I met who can effortlessly mix in vintage pieces with modern pieces and yet make the whole decor look very warm and inviting. She also adds just enough color without making the whole place look either gaudy or dull. Needless to say, we are getting a ton of appreciation from everyone who visits our place and more than anything I am happy how she made our house into a happy abode!
