At Zodiac Design, we are passionate about residential design and construction. We value the relationships we build with our clients and we take pride in being an instrumental part of the creative design process. Zodiac Design can take your collections of ideas, photos and sketches and design a quality custom home around your ever-changing needs and lifestyle. Every family and individual is unique, and their dwelling should be too! Designing and building a custom home is the largest investment that most people will make in their lifetime. Mike totally gets it from a buyer and builder perspective producing quality design and plans. Cost of services is very reasonable and he made sure when changes were needed stayed flexible and on top of not only what we wanted but applied his expertise to make our layouts better than expected. Certainly exceeded our expectations in many areas. Mike came highly recommended by others we talked to and builders/subs using his plans greatly appreciate the levels of detail.

Working with Mike during the entire design process has been excellent. He is creative, talented, humble and responsive - what more could you ask for? His focus was to support our vision with an eye on how we would actually be living in our home. He respected our dream for our dream home. We can't wait to have our home built and we'll be thankful every day that we engaged Mike to design it.

Mike was great to work with. He had excellent ideas and lots of knowledge. He would also spend the time to work through ideas and then provide the revised plans. We highly recommend using Zodiac Designs.

We purchased a new construction home in Boise from a well known builder. As the designer, Mike was very attentive to our needs and was able to take the standard "spec" home and turn it into our dream house. We collected ideas we liked from Houzz, magazine clippings and our hand drawn mockups and Mike figured out a way to make it work within our budget. Without Mike's expertise and guidance, we would have walked away from the builder as they were too rigid with the designs and kept pushing us towards other model homes. Homes built in Boise are very traditional, what we call "Tuscan Villa", which is not our taste. Mike immediately recognized that we wanted an open, modern design and didn't waste our time with old fashioned ideas. He is a true professional and is great to work with. Highly recommended!

Mike at Zodiac Design is really easy to work with, his very knowledgable in residential construction and design. I really like the designs that Mike comes up with; they are innovative and unique. He also communicates really well and is quick to respond to any correspondance. He is a pleasure to work with.

During the time that I worked for a Boise Firm, Zodiac was instrumental in taking our clients from concept to final plans with the utmost patience and they always made the buyer's feel comfortable throughout the process with quick responses and attention to detail. I would recommend Zodiac Design to anyone who needs home plans because I know they will be taken care of, treated fairly and have lots of fun along the way!

Mike with Zodiac Design worked with my wife and I to put together the floor plans for a custom home that has yet to be built but that we are more than excited to have done. He was quick to respond on any design changes that we asked for and always gave us a good second opinion on functionality and economics on the the things that we wanted. I would highly recommend Mike and am excited to work with him again when we finally get started on the build.
