“Our Tudor Cottage-style home was built in Hyde Park in Hutchinson, KS in 1929. We craved a gathering-space kitchen and a cozy family room, yet none were to be had in our home's small rooms, each designed for their singular purpose in the style of 1929 architecture. We loved the character of our home, and wanted to be true to it. Yet, in a "love it or list it" mentality, we knew that something had to change. Enter Salt Creek Interior Design and the unique, and unparalleled talent of Becca Hardenbuger. Often, a designer's work is known at a glance by his or her signature style. Becca's work is known because she brings a unique level of design to bear in reflecting the essence of her client's style, thus creating spaces that are truly the one true space where the heart of the individual client she serves finds contentment. In 2014, Salt Creek Interior Design took on the ambitious overhaul of our dining & kitchen spaces, our basement and our back yard. The result is truly a transformation unlike any other. Throughout the process, Becca's patient presence and unflappable demeanor allowed her to flex to meet the changing project needs...along with the last minute adjustments and adaptations to meet our whims and changing ideas...with a result that is unlike anything anyone expected. Becca's work has always impressed us. But her efforts on our spaces delight us. She is second to none, and we have lived and renovated in markets from a cabin in the Big Sky Country of Montana to renovating a tract home in Phoenix, Arizona. We would not trade any designer we have encountered for Becca. While we have found our bliss in the space she helped us create, it is almost worth wishing for just one more project so that we could have the fun of working with her again.”
