“South Shore Fireplace is by far the most professional and trustworthy Chimney / Stove service company I have ever delt with. They were Prompt, neat, kept schedule on time, and very courteous. The Foreman on the job introduced himself when he arrived, shook my hand and has the southern manners of "yes mam" when speaking to me. They listened, answered ALL my questions, and made me feel "safe" regarding how the job was to be done. The Owner of the company was on site to review the plan after the consultation and analyzing He was also at my home at the end of the job. They took photos of the chimney before and after and took the time to sit down and show them to me and explain the problem and solution. The office staff was easy to reach, easy to talk to and understanding of my concerns regarding the issues I was having that needed repair. I even received a call back after hours with an answer to one of my questions. I could not be Happier with the results of our TWO major projects. “Very professional, complete service. Delivered what was promised for the price that was quoted. Services performed were: replacing 4 bricks in the chimney; resetting 3 loose bricks in the chimney; repointing bricks at the top of the chimney; removing old crown and replacing; extending 2 flues; installing stainless steel cap; watersealing entire chimney; reconnecting linkage to damper inside.”

“Relined both sides of chimney; extensive rebuilding of firebox and inside of chimney; rebuilt outside of chimney from roof up; had to break through the brick wall in garage to do this work, as well as the basement wall. Matched the brick we had perfectly. Job got more complicated yet he stayed at original estimate. Clean work environment. Consistently met scheduling deadlines and commitments. Respectful workers. Safe work environment. Attentive to questions and concerns. Kept us apprised of issues and potential changes to scope of project. Returned calls and emails promptly.
