“I had searched for vintage, old growth oak flooring in my area for over a year. Having found a beautiful home in Glencoe slated for demolition, I removed 800 sq ft of the vintage quarter sawn and rift sawn floors, de-nailed them and brought them home. Then came the search for the installer. I called around and had a classified ad up. Michael from Mysha's Flooring came out to bid on the job. He was professional and full of knowledgable tips for us whether we used his services or not. A great guy. His bid was not the lowest, but we felt confident in his work. So we decided to hire him. He removed the old flooring and installed the reclaimed, quickly and carefully. Always aware of surrounding areas and kept the job site clean and organized. He kept us in the loop on all phases of the job. I feel like we hit the jackpot with Michael. The floors look beautiful and full of character. He is a lovely person and a truly skilled craftsman with high standards. Would highly recommend him.”

“Dillion refinished and restored our beat up 1955 wood flooring. It is absolutely beautiful! Dillion is a true craftsman. He is also returns calls and emails very promptly and he is extremely patient. I thought I wanted to stain the floors and Dillion applied several stain options and waited patiently while I agonized for 45 minutes. He was very kind and did not offer his opinion until the very end. I would use Dillion again in a heartbeat and would highly encourage his services.”

“From start to finish this was a great job. We needed 5 rooms done and decided to do three at one time and the other two a couple of months later. We own two dogs and we needed to have a pet barrier product to better absorb if there would be any inside mistakes. They came through with a rugged easy to clean carpet that looks great! The installer was outstanding and did a great job. Follow up is what I would expect from a top notch company and that is what I received. A great experience throughout. Thanks!”
