“Brian provided better design ideas than the architects had done, because he has good design sense but also knows the cabinet lines he sells very well. For example, he know what lines had standard cabinets in what increments, so he could quickly populate the kitchen with cabinets that are actually available and not custom made. He made several suggestions about workspaces that changed our ideas, and he went the extra mile to solve problems about how to fit more into a space. For example, he figured out how to have our builder build a cabinet for our freezer in a cost-effective way that used readily available components. He came out to the job site several times to personally deliver materials and see how things were going, and responded immediately with replacement shelves/doors/hinges when we needed them. Most important, he understood exactly what the builder meant with questions and answered quickly. In all, I'd say that he rates excellent on the "easy" things like honesty, being on time, accurate estimates, following up, and taking care of the customer, but he rates excellent on the harder things like design and technical knowledge too. What is more, he rates excellent on the interface between the builder who actually installs the product and himself.”
