“My wife and I had been looking for several years for an effective and aesthetic way to cover the 28' W X 20' D deck on the rear of our home. Retractable awnings will not cover that entire space and require maintenance, and we really did not want a fixed roof over the deck. We attended the 2018 Pittsburgh Home & Garden Show where we met Pete Carlino of Adjustable Patio Covers, NE and were introduced to the Arcadia (now StruXure) Louvered Roof Pergola. It appeared to be the perfect solution for our space, and we scheduled a meeting with Pete to come to our home and design a louvered pergola roof for our deck. Pete submitted to us the custom-designed specifications and proposal for a three-panel roof enclosure and we had it installed in June of that year. The installation took 2 days, and the quality of the product and the installation work was top tier. The roof has three sections which can be operated independently or together via a remote control, and a rain sensor which reliably closes all sections should they be open when rain begins. We maintained an unobstructed view to our back yard, and can get as much or as little natural light as we want by adjusting the pitch of the roof louvers. We subsequently had an electrician Pete recommended install two ceiling fans, up/down lights, and beam-mounted can lights to complete the project. Five years later, the roof looks and performs like new, and my wife and I are completely satisfied with it. The roof is awesome!”
