@mtnrdredux_gw a Paper Plane is a yummy cocktail that, in my opinion, tastes like pink grapefruit juice. It’s equal parts bourbon, amaro nonnino, aperol, and lemon juice. Shake well, and strain.

Keep it for your gson, oly. When my husband’s newspaper went to electric typewriters a long long time ago-50 or 55 years ago-he brought home his old typewriter. All our kids and gkids have learned to type on it and had fun learning. We’ve tried to guess how many stories and essays have been written on it in all these years but really have no idea. Even Hub still uses it sometimes. It’s a real treasure in our house. Your gson will have fond stories to tell his kids some day.

We used to go to PR to catch a boat to St Croix. We'd stay in PR for a few days prior and a few days before our return home. We liked staying in the Fajardo part of PR. We liked hiking El Yunque National Forest. It was a tropical paradise! There's a HUGE cave system that's beautiful to tour(Arecibo). Well worth seeing!

We are directly on the water, and while its a protected inlet we get fierce nor’easters. The kind where you lie in bed reminding yourself that the house has been standing 120 years and so the roof orobably wont bevriooed off tonight -lol.

Anyhoo, our screen porch had full height wood and metal panels. They screw in. They’re kind of like the ones in this link.

I have what I think is aluminum screens. They are 1965 windows. I would go for metal for sure. Aluminum would be best, as they would not rust. I guess it would be the price difference. Last longer or cheaper to replace,????

Sherry - the stainless steel ones are not supposed to rust, and IMO are far superior. The micro mesh keeps smaller bugs out than regular, larger mesh, and is clearer to see through. I've read that stainless steel screens allow more air through as well,
