Is this rug soft to bare feet? And how high is the pile? - I teach dance for elders and they want something soft and luscious to move on. (not scratchy like flat woven rugs often are)

I love this chair! If my husband doesn't, what is return policy?Thanks - My husband is an architect. He is afraid this chair will not be comfortable, and possibly not made well.
