This conversion from an ill thought out layout was transformed by a glass extension to house the new kitchen-diner. Along with a complete rethink of the consolidated upper floor layout and bold move to introduce an inner steel support structure, this house went on to win highly acclaimed International Property Award for the North region and later took the coveted Best Interior Design Private Residence in the UK at the same awards at a later date!
