Look at the facia board off the deck framing, we could mimic this look, and do (same as new wood color for upper deck), just like you see here. Right now yours is painted white & highlights that whole area & not in a good way.
The wood will soften the look. The metal posts here look great too. Could switch out your posts for something like this.
fyi - at very least the area downstairs by pool should be painted, and something that works well color wise with whatever material the pool is refaced with. So it all kinda of 'blends well'.
