OK this is a perfect example...whites, stainless steel, bold fan/vent and wood floor, PLUS a WOOD island (although it's a bit too busy and gray...don't think it goes with the rest of kitchen). And the countertop of island is too brown. Would look GOOD with different wood (painted gray)? or (a solid wood stain)? with a light (or black)?? countertop on island. Also, see kitchen countertop I believe over by sink is black. Not bad. it's the contrasts and hues/tones I like here.
