The use of natural light is crucial to many heritage renovations, with the existing Victorian homes typically being dark by nature. In this Fitzroy North house, Nic Owen Architects mimicked these forms by utilising large windows and elevated ceilings in what they described as a “sympathetic response to historically sensitive inner-city living.”
