The project brief was to extend an existing stone Victorian ‘villa’ in rural Lothersdale, Yorkshire. Det finns många fördelar med att bo i ett hus, och ett av dem är att ha en trädgård, och allt som man kan göra med den. En av dem grejerna är att bygga en pool! Många är det säkerligen som har drömt om att ha just en pool i trädgården, och dem som har tagit tag i det och faktiskt byggt en ångrar sig sällan. Oavsett om det är en pool ovan mark eller en nedgrävd pool så kan man få otroligt mycket glädje av poolen, barn såväl som vuxna. Att dessutom ha en utedusch och en badtunna måste vara höjden av lyx, och även att bara ha en av sakerna gör ens hem till något otroligt härligt. Vilka pooltillbehör är ett måste?

En pool är inget utan alla pooltillbehör, så om man går i tankarna om att bygga en pool så ska man vara medveten om det. Ett poolskydd är lika viktigt som en bra och säker poolstege, så det är med andra ord inte bara att gräva ett hål i marken och fylla det med vatten. Sen kräver såklart olika pooler olika typer av tillbehör, men ett poolöverdrag eller pooltak är minst sagt ett måste för alla pooler.

Vilken form av pool ska jag ha?

Det är inte alltid lätt att bestämma sig för om man vill ha en fyrkantig eller rund pool, och ibland är det till och med trädgården och dess utformning som får ta det beslutet, eller om det ska vara en inomhus- eller utomhuspool. Ibland får man kanske inte ens plats med en liten pool och får nöja sig med ett utomhusspa eller jacuzzi, men det kan vara minst lika härligt som en rejäl bassäng. Pooler fyller förvisso olika funktioner i grund och botten, men de är allra ett härligt tillskott till ens hem, och när man väl har skaffat det vill man helst inte vill leva utan det. Så tro oss, går du i tankarna om att bygga en pool själv eller köpa ett swimspa, gör det om du har möjligheten! Att ha en egen pool är verkligen vardagslyx på hög nivå.

Uppvärmd pool eller ej?

När man tar tag i drömmen om att bygga en swimmingpool hemma så vill man såklart att det ska bli så bra som möjligt. En viktig fråga att ställa sig är därför om man vill ha poolvärmare i poolen eller inte. Visst gör solen sitt under de varmare dagarna på året, men den ger aldrig lika mycket effekt som en poolvärmepump. Det kan onekligen vara härligt att kunna värma upp poolen, på så sätt kan man faktiskt använada den mer eftersom det inte behöver vara strålande sommarsol ute för att den ska ha en behaglig temperatur. Å andra sidan finns det något härligt med att låta den ha sin naturliga temperatur, så det är med andra upp till var och en att tänka över både en och två gånger innan man faktiskt bestämmer sig för vilket poolpaket man köpar!
