The key objective of introducing indoor-outdoor concepts in home design is to ensure that there is an easy passage between the two zones. For this project in Monash, we have installed large bifold doors which invite the sunshine in and frame the surrounding views of nature whilst creating a seamless transition out onto the new merbau deck with built in BBQ and bench seating

We removed the existing old uneven turf that was previously done for this new home and levelled the yard and laid turf underlay and kikuyu turf. We build a Merbau timber deck over the existing alfresco to extend the entertaining space and level the area.

The backyard has been transformed into an entertainers dream! We installed a large Merbau deck, with balusters to keep the high sections safe and installed a Colourbond pergola to protect the entertaining space from the weather all year around. We added a large garden bed with a feature tree and laid new Kikuyu turf.
