Boxwood AvenueThis gorgeous bathroom design with a free standing tub and marble galore is made even more beautiful with a custom made white oak vanity. The brass mirror and light fixtures compliment the polished nickel tub filler. The walls are classic grey by Benjamin Moore, complete with marble countertops.
Haven Design and ConstructionThis guest bath was remodeled to provide a shared bathroom for two growing boys. The dark blue gray vanity adds a masculine touch while double sinks and mirrors provide each boy with his own space. A tall custom linen cabinet in the shower area provides plenty of storage for towels and bath sundries, while a handy pullout hamper on the bottom keeps the area tidy. Classic white subway tile is repeated in the tub shower and on the vanity accent wall. Marble look porcelain floor tile picks up the gray color of the vanity and provides a beautiful and durable floor surface.

Richmond Hill Design + BuildCharming and timeless, 5 bedroom, 3 bath, freshly-painted brick Dutch Colonial nestled in the quiet neighborhood of Sauer’s Gardens (in the Mary Munford Elementary School district)! We have fully-renovated and expanded this home to include the stylish and must-have modern upgrades, but have also worked to preserve the character of a historic 1920’s home. As you walk in to the welcoming foyer, a lovely living/sitting room with original fireplace is on your right and private dining room on your left. Go through the French doors of the sitting room and you’ll enter the heart of the home – the kitchen and family room. Featuring quartz countertops, two-toned cabinetry and large, 8’ x 5’ island with sink, the completely-renovated kitchen also sports stainless-steel Frigidaire appliances, soft close doors/drawers and recessed lighting. The bright, open family room has a fireplace and wall of windows that overlooks the spacious, fenced back yard with shed. Enjoy the flexibility of the first-floor bedroom/private study/office and adjoining full bath. Upstairs, the owner’s suite features a vaulted ceiling, 2 closets and dual vanity, water closet and large, frameless shower in the bath. Amy Pearson DesignRelocating to Portland, Oregon from California, this young family immediately hired Amy to redesign their newly purchased home to better fit their needs. The project included updating the kitchen, hall bath, and adding an en suite to their master bedroom. Removing a wall between the kitchen and dining allowed for additional counter space and storage along with improved traffic flow and increased natural light to the heart of the home. This galley style kitchen is focused on efficiency and functionality through custom cabinets with a pantry boasting drawer storage topped with quartz slab for durability, pull-out storage accessories throughout, deep drawers, and a quartz topped coffee bar/ buffet facing the dining area. The master bath and hall bath were born out of a single bath and a closet. While modest in size, the bathrooms are filled with functionality and colorful design elements. Durable hex shaped porcelain tiles compliment the blue vanities topped with white quartz countertops. The shower and tub are both tiled in handmade ceramic tiles, bringing much needed texture and movement of light to the space. The hall bath is outfitted with a toe-kick pull-out step for the family’s youngest member!
H2 Design StudioA pathway to the master ensuite and WIC was restricted by too many doors, and an awkward layout of linen closets. A simple re-layout of the storage spaces allowed for more function within the master ensuite, and removal of the vestibule door created a more fluid access to the ensuite and WIC. Walking the line between traditional and transitional, the balance comes with the finish details and hardware. Square, sharp lines modernize an overall traditional palette, but special attention to craftsmanship expresses a nod to traditional design.

Fiorito Interior DesignWhen a large family renovated a home nestled in the foothills of the Santa Cruz mountains, all bathrooms received dazzling upgrades and this master bathroom was no exception. The spacious room faces a private yard with an abundance of greenery and views of the foothills, so I chose light, cool colors and organic materials to reference the beauty just outside. We chose an elegantly curved freestanding bath tub which echoes the beautiful, sinuous twists of the tub filler and sink faucets. I worked with my client to create a massive steam shower lined with porcelain tile that mimics marble, a much more durable and steam-friendly material than porous marble. A grand custom vanity spans one half of the bathroom and features a seated make-up area. For the vanity lighting, my client fell in love with pendants that look as if they are faceted jewels. The entire bathroom is now a luxurious, sophisticated spa.
