Hankins & Associates, Inc. - Kitchens and BathsThis “Blue for You” kitchen is truly a cook’s kitchen with its 48” Wolf dual fuel range, steamer oven, ample 48” built-in refrigeration and drawer microwave. Of styles, Farmhouse Shaker style contemporary and classic yet gives of the warm feeling of a rustic vibe interior design, creating a third, which transcends time. Match of finishes: hammering, antique brass finish, trowel, natural finish, matte, shiny reflective glass. An encounter between optimal functionality and pure aesthetics, which coexist in perfect balance. Blue avio, a color blue kitchen, played down by the large contemporary island and Shaker Style Cabinets, which aesthetically create a clever play of depth. The workhorse is undoubtedly his island, a dialogue of styles between classic and contemporary, a combination of materials in which honey-colored wood meets Nero Marquinia stone in a brushed finish and marble. The visual contrast alone, but also the Italian excellence of the material quality, make it a true work of art.
Krantz DesignsOur clients created a new glazed link between two parts of their home and wanted to relocate the kitchen within this space, integrating it with their existing dining area. It was important to them – and to us – that our design was in keeping with the period property, and the end result was magnificent fusion between old and new, creating a fluid link to the rest of their home.
The large breakfast bar was finished in solid American walnut and incorporated a bespoke pop-up gin bar, another playful touch. This makes for a stunning showpiece, a surprising feature that acts as a real talking point.

Yorkshire Kitchen DesignThis traditional blue and white shaker kitchen was built in Drax, North Yorkshire.
The clients were looking for a highly functional, open-plan kitchen, but they also wanted to keep the traditional feel of their home. The blue and white shaker cabinets perfectly balance these two requirements.
Since this is a complete kitchen renovation, we stripped the space completely, installed new electrical wirings, and did a full reskim. We also added a pocket door system, tiled the floor, and added new radiators.
We started by removing a structural wall between the unused dining room and a small kitchen to create an open-plan kitchen, dining and snug area. To do this, we cut the steel within the floor joists to create a flush ceiling and allowed the dropped ceiling around the island to house the ceiling-mounted extractor. We finished the ceiling with a 3-step edge detailing to make a seamless transition between the existing decor and the new look.
We chose the Stanton range, a classic shaker-style collection, for the cabinetry. We used a combination of midnight blue and mussel units, offering a sense of warmth and comfort to the room. The worktops are white mirage.
There's no need to switch on any lights in this kitchen as we used the Phillips Hue light system, controlled via voice, motion, and phones. We also added motion-activated LED strip lighting in the ceiling for ambient lighting. Lastly, we installed appliances from Bosch and Quooker to create a fully functional kitchen.
