UserWe maximised all available space by providing inner drawers to the pantry, vertical storage in the island, readily accessible tea towel and cutting board storage open for ventilation yet concealed from view by locating this on the inside of island. This also created a convenient location for island GPO with cables concealed in a void behind.
Using shallow cabinets either side of the garden window allowed maximum island width while still maintaining comfortable walkways necessary when clients are entertaining.
Floating shelves above the charging zone softened the line of sight from the family room past the integrated ironing centre the to the sun-drenched garden window.
The step-down table off the island facilitates comfortable meals and social gatherings within the kitchen while allowing uninterrupted work flow for the hostess while still enjoy the company.
To retain the symmetry of the island waterfalls a partial waterfall on the sink run side of the island allows cabinets facing the sink area to be fully utilised.

Elementi CucinaFor many years our Creative Director had been dreaming of creating a unique, bespoke and uber cool street art kitchen. It quickly became apparent that the universe had aligned and the perfect opportunity to make her dream become a reality was right in front of her, she found herself surrounded by the most incredible, extensive and amazing street art collection. A cheeky grin appeared on Katies face and she knew exactly what was coming next. Billy the Kid...the much talked about, completely incognito, up and coming street artist, with comparisons to Banksy, was immediately hunted down on Instagram and together via his agents (Walton Fine Arts), in top secret fashion to keep his unknown identity a secret, they collaborated on fusing his bold, bright, personalized and original street art with the luxury Italian kitchen brand Pedini.
The kitchen showcases a beautiful sultry, dark metallic door for depth and texture. Gaggenau Vario refrigeration and cooking appliances and a Quooker tap system in the stunning patinated brass finish.
The island really was the focal point and practically gave the clients a central beautiful working space, Gold Mammorea quartz worktop with its beautiful veining encases the island worktop and sides then the absolutely stunning Fiore Dibosco marble table that is beautifully lit with hidden led channels, wraps the island corner with its gravity defying angled end panels. The unique and individual commissioned Billy the Kid art installation on the back of the island creates total wow factor, the artwork included very personal touches...the family’s names, the dog gets a mention too and positive words that sum up the love this family so evidently share. Even the 3 cherubs Billy created look uncannily like the client’s 3 children, a wonderful touch. This kitchen is a truly unique and stunningly original installation, we love that Billy the Kid jumped on board with the concept presented to him.
Portfolio KitchensA modern kitchen which still feels homely. We chose an inframe kitchen but with a flat door. As it's a bespoke, traditional style of kitchen but the flat door and long bar handles give it a streamlined and contemporary feel.

As always, our bespoke kitchens are designed and built to suit lifestyle and family needs and this one is no exception. Plenty of island seating and really importantly, lots of room to move around it. Large cabinets and deep drawers for convenient storage plus accessible shelving for cook books and a wine fridge perfectly positioned for the cook! Look closely and you’ll see that the larder is shallow in depth. This was deliberately (and cleverly!) designed to accommodate a large beam behind the back of the cabinet, yet still allows this run of cabinets to look balanced.
We’re loving the distinctive brass handles by Armac Martin against the Hardwicke White paint colour on the cabinetry - along with the Hand Silvered Antiqued mirror splashback there’s plenty of up-to-the-minute design details which ensure this classic shaker is contemporary yes classic in equal measure.

Some great appliances included such as the downdraft Nikola Tesla extracting hob and the instant boiling tap from Quooker. All finished with a smoked grey mirror backsplash.

Symmetry is key to this sleek design, with Gaggenau appliances positioned both sides of the mirrored backsplash, and two breakfast bar seating areas at either end of the island. The space also features an underground wine cellar.

Planet FurnitureThis contemporary, super-smart kitchen in Old Welwyn is part of a new extension that was designed with the open space of the garden in mind.
The understated, bespoke kitchen design (from our Handmade in Hitchin range) means the focus is on the outdoors when the sliding doors are open or through the expanse of glass in the colder months. Keeping it contemporary, the handleless cabinets have been hand painted in F&B’s All White and Little Greene’s Dock Blue. Providing a warm, tactile contrast is the Wide Planked Oak 60mm Breakfast Bar which extends from the kitchen island, down to the floor and provides seating on both sides.
Deep drawers and large cabinets provide ample storage and easy accessibility whilst the floating, oak shelves are perfect for displaying cookery books and artefacts.
Integrated Miele appliances ensure the sleek, uncluttered finish is maintained with the induction hob & downdraft extractor inset unobtrusively on the Silestone Eternal Calacatta Gold Quartz worktop. And, in turn, this popular durable worktop perfectly partners the (wow factor) splashback in Hand Silvered Antiqued Mirror.
A real feature of this family kitchen is the bespoke extra-large pantry which was commissioned as a drinks cabinet with integrated wine cooler. Serving both functional and visual purposes it’s designed using the same flat slab doors as the kitchen cabinets but with bi-fold opening and flush handles. However, it’s the inside where the magic lies - integrated lighting, the same Silestone Eternal Calacatta Gold Quartz worktop, solid oak wine glass holders and antiqued mirror glass - It’s these details that make it a thing of beauty!
