Vintage CellarsWalk into the kitchen in this Poway / Rancho Bernardo, San Diego home and it's impossible to miss this gorgeous 2,000 bottle, custom wine cellar showpiece. Completed in 2018, the cellar is complete with custom walnut stained poplar wine racking, rolling ladder for out of reach bottles, and much, much more.
Against each window into the kitchen are floor to ceiling frames showcasing label out, metal racking to add a bit of modern flair. Two high reveal display rows circle the entire room, showcasing this homeowner's best bottles and designed to be angled perfectly to ensure the corks stay wet for long term storage.
An island in the middle of the room acts as a great spot to open and decant wines, and integrated into each side are custom pieces of cabinetry and room for side displayed large format bottles. Also integrated into the racking is a a small countertop and glass rack. LED lights flow throughout to highlight key features and make the whole cellar really pop.

L/L Design - Build - FurnishOur client purchased this home and knew he wanted a wine cellar incorporated into the space, but didn't just want a small wall style. He knew he would never use the existing dining room, so this was the space selected for the transformation.
Lots of planning and details went into the process to make sure the mechanicals would support the temperature control, and also to blend the old world Italian heritage into a traditional home setting.
We nailed it on giving him a unique look, with high end custom finishes noticed at every angle.
This room remodel is very much enjoyed on a daily basis.

Hagstrom BuilderA Modern Farmhouse set in a prairie setting exudes charm and simplicity. Wrap around porches and copious windows make outdoor/indoor living seamless while the interior finishings are extremely high on detail. In floor heating under porcelain tile in the entire lower level, Fond du Lac stone mimicking an original foundation wall and rough hewn wood finishes contrast with the sleek finishes of carrera marble in the master and top of the line appliances and soapstone counters of the kitchen. This home is a study in contrasts, while still providing a completely harmonious aura.
Highland Builders LLCLounge room bar with climate controlled custom designed wine cellar. Adobe Silver Versailles tile gives the wine cellar it's European style.
Flat panel front and back bar is complimented by the Stratus Cross stone back bar with the India Black Pearl leather granite counter tops. Rustic beams pull the whole feel of an European pub.
Wine Cellar SpecialistsIn this photo, you can see Mr. Meyer (the owner) stocking his wine in his Dallas custom wine cellar. The 3-deep metal wine racks display the bottles horizontally, with the labels facing out to allow for convenient browsing. The wooden case storage below allows for bulk storage.

Blue Grouse Wine CellarsTo add design interest to the cellar the back wall was clad with rock with individual cutouts, framed with wood to match the racking and lit to highlight featured bottles.
All wood used in this wine cellar was walnut, either roasted or oiled for a darker finish.

Sentinel ConstructionThis wine cellar is a converted from a walk in panty. This was a fun little project that I thoroughly enjoyed putting together for a couple that was a joy to work for. There was a lot of detail that went into this room that the camera can't capture.
Fusion BowlingCustom private bowling alley installed in the home's basement. Fusion Bowling salvaged several vintage components from the 1960s era, and restored them to like-new condition. This involved professional professional powder coating, chrome re-plating, painting, rubber fabrication, LED retrofits, etc. The vintage pieces were combined with new synthetic bowling lane, gutters, and computer scoring system.
Vinomagna Wine CellarsThis custom wine wall show piece, shows no fear in making its enormous presence known in our clients existing ground floor lounge. Standing at three meters in height and six meters wide wrapping into an adjacent wall recess, this custom wine display is a masterful show piece in this lounge. Its always a pleasure working with clients with big ambitious projects. In this case, our client wanted to take over 30% of their lounge floor space with this custom wine display. Additionally, a huge collection of bond stored vintage and classic red and wine wine were to be housed within the display.
‘Our Client’s custom wine wall display design requirements for this project were simple – MAXIMUM WINE STORAGE ‘ – Craig Ellis
The center display features multiple rows of 3m wide floating LED lit wine shelves in addition to LED spotlighting. The large amount of lighting marginally generates heat heat due to the high specification moisture resistance Led design. The custom wine wall has Large diagonal display shelves running opposite ends from each other to create a wonderful pitched visual display. Due to the 3m width of the center shelves we thickened and reinforced the timber structurally on the back wall. Stronger thicker reinforced timber will stop any shelf bowing over time from the weight of the bottles.
The oak choice of a dark enhanced grain satin finish, also complimented with a mirrored acrylic backdrop adds depth into the display.
