Ola Jachymiak StudioThis holistic project involved the design of a completely new space layout, as well as searching for perfect materials, furniture, decorations and tableware to match the already existing elements of the house.
The key challenge concerning this project was to improve the layout, which was not functional and proportional.
Balance on the interior between contemporary and retro was the key to achieve the effect of a coherent and welcoming space.
Passionate about vintage, the client possessed a vast selection of old trinkets and furniture.
The main focus of the project was how to include the sideboard,(from the 1850’s) which belonged to the client’s grandmother, and how to place harmoniously within the aerial space. To create this harmony, the tones represented on the sideboard’s vitrine were used as the colour mood for the house.
The sideboard was placed in the central part of the space in order to be visible from the hall, kitchen, dining room and living room.
The kitchen fittings are aligned with the worktop and top part of the chest of drawers.
Green-grey glazing colour is a common element of all of the living spaces.
In the the living room, the stage feeling is given by it’s main actor, the grand piano and the cabinets of curiosities, which were rearranged around it to create that effect.
A neutral background consisting of the combination of soft walls and
minimalist furniture in order to exhibit retro elements of the interior.

Iconic by Kaitlyn WolfeThis true mid-century modern home was ready to be revived. The home was built in 1959 and lost its character throughout the various remodels over the years. Our clients came to us trusting that with our help, they could love their home again. This design is full of clean lines, yet remains playful and organic. The first steps in the kitchen were removing the soffit above the previous cabinets and reworking the cabinet layout. They didn't have an island before and the hood was in the middle of the room. They gained so much storage in the same square footage of kitchen. We started by incorporating custom flat slab walnut cabinetry throughout the home. We lightened up the rooms with bright white countertops and gave the kitchen a 3-dimensional emerald green backsplash tile. In the hall bathroom, we chose a penny round floor tile, a terrazzo tile installed in a grid pattern from floor-to-ceiling behind the floating vanity. The hexagon mirror and asymmetrical pendant light are unforgettable. We finished it with a frameless glass panel in the shower and crisp, white tile. In the master bath, we chose a wall-mounted faucet, a full wall of glass tile which runs directly into the shower niche and a geometric floor tile. Our clients can't believe this is the same home and they feel so lucky to be able to enjoy it every day.
CairnsCraft Design & RemodelWe worked with this client to transform their home by created an inviting and open living area. To enable this transformation, we first removed a partition wall that had previously separated the living room and the dining room. Doing this opened up the space between the kitchen and dining room. The beam on top opened up the wall and we were able to keep the post in place to keep the original architecture intact. To maximize the storage space, we closed the door and windows. This allowed us to install the cabinetry that the client desired. For the cabinetry, we went with a two-tone color scheme, using a white upper cabinet with a teal base cabinet. These color choices aligned well with the glossy glass vertical herringbone tile. Additionally, in this whole home remodel, we also installed luxury vinyl flooring and tile surrounding a brand new fireplace. The end result was a refreshed home that our client could enjoy with family and friends.

Innovative Design Build, IncA unique take on a modern Floridian style kitchen with a punch of color. The handmade green glass tiles by Trend Group were the driving force in this remodel. We were required to keep the sink and dishwasher in their original location. But we moved the stove from the left of the refrigerator, to the newly expanded island creating an oversized workspace. The clients love to socialize and by moving the stove, allowed for conversations to not be strained when someone is cooking. Our clients originally only fit 2 bar stools at the island. But once we doubled it in size, we were able to fit 4 bar stools and centralize the conversation area in this open concept design. The Cambria Annicca countertop is the piece de resistance adding a lot of flare o the space with its purple and gold detailing, complimenting the green backsplash. ARS fabricators hit a home run with the outstanding job they did on the gorgeous waterfall sides. Besides the kitchen, we also replaced all of the flooring throughout the home.
