The key design goal of the homeowners was to install “an extremely well-made kitchen with quality appliances that would stand the test of time”. The kitchen design had to be timeless with all aspects using the best quality materials and appliances. The new kitchen is an extension to the farmhouse and the dining area is set in a beautiful timber-framed orangery by Westbury Garden Rooms, featuring a bespoke refectory table that we constructed on site due to its size. The project involved a major extension and remodelling project that resulted in a very large space that the homeowners were keen to utilise and include amongst other things, a walk in larder, a scullery, and a large island unit to act as the hub of the kitchen. The design of the orangery allows light to flood in along one length of the kitchen so we wanted to ensure that light source was utilised to maximum effect. Installing the distressed mirror splashback situated behind the range cooker allows the light to reflect back over the island unit, as do the hammered nickel pendant lamps. The sheer scale of this project, together with the exceptionally high specification of the design make this kitchen genuinely thrilling. Every element, from the polished nickel handles, to the integration of the Wolf steamer cooktop, has been precisely considered. This meticulous attention to detail ensured the kitchen design is absolutely true to the homeowners’ original design brief and utilises all the innovative expertise our years of experience have provided.

The Tuscany seasoned limestone tile emulates a true rustic and country feel. This textured honey toned stone, features subtle tonal variation as well as rich fossilisation resulting in a characterful and forgiving limestone tile. From tile to tile, this natural stone can also display a soft flowing movement, which works perfectly as kitchen tiles and ground floors.

On adore cette jolie cuisine lumineuse, ouverte sur la cour fleurie de l'immeuble. Un joli carrelage aspect carreau de ciment mais moderne, sous cette cuisine ikea blanche aux moulures renforçant le côté un peu campagne, mais modernisé avec des boutons en métal noir, et une crédence qui n'est pas toute hauteur, en carreaux style métro plat vert sauge ! Des petits accessoires muraux viennent compléter le côté rétro de l'ensemble, éclairé par des suspensions design en béton.

This kitchen / dining area presents a soft furniture in terms of shapes and colours; the shaker style cabinets, the upholstered bench and the floor are in very soft and light range of beige, put in evidence the warm wood of the table and standing bench.

A large family kitchen which flows perfectly into the new orangery. Designed using a variety of tactile surfaces including stone and wood. With a 3.5 metres long central island with unusual curved steps between the surfaces, it defines the space and is practical for incorporating storage, food preparation areas and is a wonderful focus for gathering people. There is also a walk in larder with marble surfaces for appliances and food storage.

Attention : transformation spectaculaire ! Mme F s’était déjà projetée dans cet espace vide. Elle savait exactement ce qu’elle voulait. Il ne nous restait plus qu’à donner vie à sa cuisine de rêve. Nous avons donc trouvé ensemble les teintes idéales : du gris brillant pour les façades laquées, une céramique veinée signée DEKTON pour le plan de travail et la crédence. Nous avons travaillé sur un design épuré en supprimant toutes les poignées, en soulignant les meubles bas d’une gorges noire et en intégrant une cuve sous plan de 73 cm de large. Si vous êtes passionné de cuisine, vous avez forcément remarqué le superbe piano SMEG, style rétro, qui trône fièrement au centre du bloc de cuisson. Modern kitchen renovation within a pre-war era home in Mosman. The existing room was extended to enlarge the kitchen space whilst also providing the opportunity to improve natural lighting. The overall layout of the kitchen remains the same with the exception of a large scullery/pantry at one end and minor layout optimisations.
