This incredible large inglenook fireplace provides a feature for this room. The room extends into the 'Garden room' an open area at the end of the Living Room, which provides a perfect area for the clients to relax, read a book and also play bridge with their friends. The large living area is the perfect space to show off the beautiful collection of ceramics and artefacts from their time living in the Far East. Inspiration for all the fabrics came from the combination of the clients blue & white china and the exposed rich red brick throughout the property.

It was a real pleasure to work with these clients to create a fusion of East Coast USA and Morocco in this North London Flat. A modest architectural intervention of rebuilding the rear extension on lower ground and creating a first floor bathroom over the same footprint. The project combines modern-eclectic interior design with twenty century vintage classics. The colour scheme of pinks, greens and coppers create a vibrant palette that sits comfortably within this period property.

Our client was an avid reader and memorabilia collector. It was important for there to be an area to showcase all of these items for all to see. Having access to cozy corners to read and relax in was also important

A seaside apartment with ocean views - this living/diner is painted a greige with dark teal feature shelves. We created a bespoke storage window seat which makes a feature of the view. We changed all internal doors and brass switches/sockets to give it more of a luxe feel. The artworks and soft furnishings are all coastal and use a similar colour palette, giving the rooms cohesive flow. The large window mirror reflects the view of the beach.

This family wanted to makeover their cream living room and also hallway, landing and stairs by injecting some colour into the spaces, but still keeping things calm and tranquil. They called upon me as they were unsure where to start. It was apparent from their collection of art and photography that they loved the sea, lakes and nature in general. Taking their favourite pieces as inspiration I came up with a soothing colour palette of mid aqua, warm stone, brushed brass, light oak. Pops of orange are reminiscent of the sunsets they are drawn to, but by no means overpowering. The double aspect living room could take this cooler mid blue, as it benefits from a lot of natural light. Two sofas were chosen in a similar colour. It’s a far cry from the original look but the family say they were pleased I pushed them a little out of their comfort zone. They now have a home they love more than they would ever have imagined.
