We’re greeted by the spacious living room. None of those long, narrow and winding corridors separating the ground floor. Instead, everything is in an open plan layout. And yet, the calming and unobtrusive pastel palette of the rooms, combined with the large landscape paintings and arrangement of the furniture brings about a welcome breath of the old timey Victorian style.

Coming into the back part of the living room, we’re presented with the more modern theme of the house. The bespoke media cabinet and shelving in beige-white, the lime-coloured lounge chairs and interesting shapes of the lime-and-green rug. Everything in the room plays to the unobtrusive and undemanding atmosphere of the house. There’s no clutter, no unnecessary colours or clashing elements.
