A re-modeling and renovation project with the brief from our client to create a light open functional kitchen to act as the hub of a large open plan living area. An informal seating and dining area links the food preparation and dining spaces, with warm grey paint shades complimenting the limestone floor tiles

The key design goal of the homeowners was to install “an extremely well-made kitchen with quality appliances that would stand the test of time”. The kitchen design had to be timeless with all aspects using the best quality materials and appliances. The new kitchen is an extension to the farmhouse and the dining area is set in a beautiful timber-framed orangery by Westbury Garden Rooms, featuring a bespoke refectory table that we constructed on site due to its size.
The project involved a major extension and remodelling project that resulted in a very large space that the homeowners were keen to utilise and include amongst other things, a walk in larder, a scullery, and a large island unit to act as the hub of the kitchen.
The design of the orangery allows light to flood in along one length of the kitchen so we wanted to ensure that light source was utilised to maximum effect. Installing the distressed mirror splashback situated behind the range cooker allows the light to reflect back over the island unit, as do the hammered nickel pendant lamps.
The sheer scale of this project, together with the exceptionally high specification of the design make this kitchen genuinely thrilling. Every element, from the polished nickel handles, to the integration of the Wolf steamer cooktop, has been precisely considered. This meticulous attention to detail ensured the kitchen design is absolutely true to the homeowners’ original design brief and utilises all the innovative expertise our years of experience have provided.

We've been really looking forward to sharing our first kitchen, we’ve designed and installed a couple more now too, but this one will always be extra special for being our first one! Connie our kitchen designer takes your wish-list and kitchen dreams and listens to how your household works to make sure the kitchen is perfect for you and most importantly feels like home. The skill and passion of our fitting team led by Chris ensures that everything is finished exactly as you would like. The only thing we can’t promise is a dog friend like the beautiful Belle here who calls this kitchen home. This is the @neptunehomeofficial Chichester kitchen. The Tuscany seasoned limestone tile emulates a true rustic and country feel. This textured honey toned stone, features subtle tonal variation as well as rich fossilisation resulting in a characterful and forgiving limestone tile. From tile to tile, this natural stone can also display a soft flowing movement, which works perfectly as kitchen tiles and ground floors.

This stunning handmade country style kitchen featuring our light beige toned Castile limestone flooring was created as part of a major refurbishment of a substantial family home in the heart of the Cotswolds by Jonathan Rixon of Cirencester based Rixon Architects with construction work undertaken by Michael Rixon Building & Roofing.

This kitchen / dining area presents a soft furniture in terms of shapes and colours; the shaker style cabinets, the upholstered bench and the floor are in very soft and light range of beige, put in evidence the warm wood of the table and standing bench.

A large family kitchen which flows perfectly into the new orangery. Designed using a variety of tactile surfaces including stone and wood. With a 3.5 metres long central island with unusual curved steps between the surfaces, it defines the space and is practical for incorporating storage, food preparation areas and is a wonderful focus for gathering people. There is also a walk in larder with marble surfaces for appliances and food storage.

At more than 500 years old, this historic forge in the beautiful Hertfordshire countryside, has been lovingly converted into a stunning family home. The kitchen was designed by Peter Humphrey, Design Director of Humphrey Munson, and handcrafted by our team of cabinetmakers at our workshop in Felsted, Essex.
With windows on two sides as well as bi-folding glass doors the full length of the kitchen, the space is light, airy and welcoming. The kitchen is from the Nickleby range, a simple and understated design perfect for modern living. The neutral colour palette gives the kitchen a really calm, tranquil and uncomplicated feel.
The worktops (including the island) are Amazon Suede – a new extra-matt finish by Silestone which has a more intense colour and a much more efficient performance against stains, marks and fingerprints. It’s a natural quartz surface treated and is brown in colour with darker shades of brown flecks. It also has the anti-bacterial protection exclusive to Silestone.
The sink area looks out across the front of the home and has an IO mixer tap in chrome by Perrin & Rowe, a boiling hot water tap and a double butler ceramic Deerfield sink by Kohler. Cooking appliances include the Britannia Delphi range cooker and Siemens Microwave oven. Refrigeration is by Liebherr and includes a fridge and freezer with ice maker, both of which are integrated behind Nickleby pantry style doors. The wine fridge by CDA provides excellent wine preservation and is integrated into the kitchen island. The Miele dishwasher is also integrated behind a Nickleby door and situated just underneath the sink run for maximum convenience and ease when clearing away dishes after a meal.

The kitchen was all designed to be integrated to the garden. The client made great emphasis to have the sink facing the garden so an L shaped kitchen was designed which also serves as kitchen bar. An enormous rooflight brings lots of light into the space.

This light and airy kitchen was painted in a Farrow and Ball green, with raised and fielded panels throughout . All the cupboards have adjustable shelves and all the drawers have a painted Farrow and Ball cock beaded face frame surround and are internally made of European oak set on hidden under mounted soft close runners.
The island has a thick solid European oak worktop, while the rest of the worktops throughout the kitchen are green limestone with bull nosed edging and have a shaped upstand with a fine line inset detail just below the top. The main oven range is a Wolf with an extractor above it individually designed by Tim Wood with the motor set in the attic in a sound insulated box. Beside the large Sub-zero fridge/freezer there is a Gaggenau oven and Gaggenau steam oven. The two sinks are classic ceramic under mounted with a Maxmatic 5000 waste disposal in one of them, with Barber Wilsons nickel plated taps above.
