Tricky layout for new kitchen/tv/table area

Hi,
Here is a furniture layout for our kitchen with tv /eating area. I’m worried about the tv placement but not sure how else to do it.

Sould we flip flio tv area and table - but that makes table too far?

Should we move window so it is where tv is - not sure we can.

Should we flip flip couch and tv - doesnt feel as good either.

Would love ideas/opinions!

    The placement of that TV doesn't make a whole lot of functional sense, especially with an angled chair smack dab in the middle of the optimal viewing angle. Is the idea that you want to be able to see the TV from the kitchen, dining, and seating areas?

    I have a feeling that couch area will go largely unused- you can't see much of the TV from there, and most people want to watch and lounge.

    The simplest solution would be to swap the table and couch areas, and then center the TV on the couch area. There are a million other permutations here, if you change up your furniture.

    My suggestion would be to figure out exactly what you're trying to accomplish, and then create a design that meets that function.

      My goal is to have comfy tv area and also table seating area.
      If I swap the spaces fo you think the couch will be too close to tv?

      It's no closer than that chair is to the tv presently. Realistically, no, I don't think it'd end up too close.

      Is the kitchen already in place like the drawing or are you planning a kitchen reno? The kitchen is disproportionately too large compared to your living space.

      Thank you all for your comments. After standing in the space, we decided to move the window(walls open anyway). It allows for tv across from couch in cozy nook and frames the table area nicely I think/hope!!

      Why is the kitchen so large and virtually no lounge/living room? I would be concerned about resale with this layout.
