white kitchen blue island dilemma

I had the wife convinced on a navy blue island (BM polo blue) to go with our white kitchen cabinets in our new install UNTIL she found Cambria's Queen Anne quartz countertop.

we both agree that the Polo Blue would be too dark so we've turned to a complimentary colour that Cambria lists with the Queen Anne. Than colour is Van Deusen Blue.

https://www.cambriausa.com/Designs/Paint-Match-Tool/?ColorID=Queen%20Anne&PaintID=vandeusenblue

problem is I can barely find any pictures of the Queen Anne, let alone on a blue island. All of the VanDeusen blue pics are with white counters.

Is the VanDeusen too light? too trendy?

she said she'd go polo blue with white counters/white cabinets but i know she'd be settling. should i forgo the blue island and go with the Queen Anne/white cabinets and island?

our floors will be red oak with a Coffee brown stain.

any help/advise is appreciated

Forgo the Polo blue island for white or Van Deusen. ................or live with that half hearted half smile when you're finished.

First and before a final, order a nice big sample of the Cambria, go to a B.M store with a nice big mat board and get a quart mixed in satin finish Van Deusen. Find a representative chunk of flooring, your white cabinet sample, and put it all together and TOGETHER look at your mix. If "everyone" is happy? Done.: )

I think it works but get a door sample and a quartz sample. A medium tone stained wood would also work.

Benjamin Moore has a nice tool that you can use to imagine what colors will look like on an island. Hope this helps! Link to Tool

    Hi Derek,
We don't have any images for Queen Anne on a blue island, but we have it paired with blue accents in this kitchen from Bria Hammel. Queen Anne is the perimeter countertop. Feel free to share photos with us when your project is done! We'd love to see the pairing.
