How to light a loo

I can't seem to find any bathroom guides that address where to place lighting in a toilet closet/nook.
When you enter my bathroom the vanity is on the left and the bathtub is directly across from the vanity. At the end of the vanity is a wall just about 6" deeper than the vanity. After the wall is the toilet. Nicely hidden from view, but dark.
I would like to add lighting to the area, but am unsure where to place the lighting or what to get.
