We've been using Papermoon Painting for a few years now (mostly for all of our wallpaper projects) - and it's always been a complete pleasure. They are a reliable partner that always get's it right - and should anything ever go wrong, they'll make it right. Looking forward to many more projects in the future - I wouldn't think of using anyone else.

While making kitchen updates in our thirty year old house, I was exhausted and confused over finding a paint color for my cabinets that would blend with surrounding rooms as well as segments of wallpaper I wanted to keep. Lisa arrived with a huge file of large paint samples (8 1/2" x 10 1/2") of varying paint brands. After listening to my goals and preferences, she began testing them in my space. She explained how lighting, surrounding elements, and paint finish would ultimately affect the paint color in my room. It was obvious that she had the creative sensitivity and experience to give the kind of advice I was needing. She identified three options that "would not be mistakes from a design perspective". I agreed with her top pick, and the result is perfect! This color consultant helped me find the proverbial "needle in a haystack" that gave me an updated look that tied in seamlessly with the rest of the house.

We had Paper Moon painting repaint our kitchen cabinets and are thrilled with the results! There is a noticeable difference in quality from our original paint job done by a different contractor 7 years ago. They took the time to sand, prime and spray the cabinets with lacquer to create a beautiful smooth and durable surface on the cabinets with no brush strokes. We love our house but we weren’t crazy about our heavy dark north facing kitchen cabinets. Yet...we were incredibly leary about selecting just anyone to repaint our kitchen cabinets. I am a customer of Paper Moon Painting. This is the best painting contractor/company that I have ever hired. They painted the Master Bedroom and bathroom, plus selected areas of the kitchen. They also painted the front door and all of the shutters. The painters were very nice and did a beautiful job. After having trouble with the finishing of the interior of my home from the builder, I haired Paper Moon. They came in on time every day, did excellent work, cleaned up after themselves and worked for 4 weeks correcting sheetrock, painting, and staining errors through out this new 7200 square foot dream home. We had trouble putting up a wall paper border that we had purchased some years ago; we knew the glue had probably disintegrated over the years, so we even tried wallpaper paste. We had no luck doing-it-ourselves. So we called Paper Moon and Peter came out to give us an estimate; he even told us how we could be successful if we wanted to try again doing it ourselves. The border was installed quickly with a minimum of fuss and muss! The job site was cleaned and you never would have known we had anything done, except for the lovely border that now graces our kitchen walls! The Moons were willing to work within our schedule (over the holidays) and we were most appreciative of their willingness for not only that, but to take on the small job as well.

Liza Moon is one of the best, if not the best, faux artist and individual I have ever worked with. She is not only talented, but she also is flexible. She is very easy to work with and quickly understands what you are asking for and produces the samples for approval that give you a range of style and color that you have asked for. Her fees are very reasonable and although not cheap she is not expensive. She willingly comes back after the job is completed if needed, without question when touch ups are necessary and never ever complains. She is truly a professional and a pleasure to work with and If she is busy when I need her, and if I can wait or if my client can wait, I will wait. l tell her to put me on her list and if the time she estimates she would be available, I always want to wait for her and encourage my clients to do the same. I would rather use Lisa and not gamble on using someone I really do not know as well or have never used before. She does not get her feelings hurt when you say "I don't like that that sample!". That is so wonderful because we can have an honest business discussion and as a interior designer, I know that all people see color and depth of that same color differently even though my eye may see "grey" ,Lisa may see it "lavender" and that in itself is common with everyone. when working with color.
